While 1,000 isn't a very huge amount to some people, but I thing it is a reasonable sum of money to start up a business with.
Earnestly, If I was just starting out, and luckily I made my first a thousand dollars here on hive (or anywhere), what I will first of all do is to cash-out everything to liquid cash, I would take everything off chain to my bank where I will be able to manage it there properly.
1k dulls is a reasonable amount of money in Nigeria, and can get you to begin a little business nicely. However, I won't put all the money into business, rather I will start up a business with $600 which is equivalent to 870,00 Naira. I mean , that can help me to start-up nicely, while I keep the $400 for business support.
I understand most people would say; "aah! I would buy $hive or inleo token and I will put money in this or that" For me, it's a complete No! You don't have power over these tokens, but I have power over my business. So, If I was starting out, I will never think of buying any crypto asset with even 1 cent from that money, all would be moved into real world business that I will be in a total control of.
Now, starting the business with $600, am very sure of 10 - 15% as profits monthly, so getting 15% monthly as profits, all will still return to the business and I won't take anything for myself, until the next 6 month to a year.
After when the business must have been up to 6 month plus, then I can begin to reinvest 5% of my monthly profits into buying crypto assets like hive to improve my account influence and value. With that , I would be able to build my account here on hive faster than if I were to invest the money into buying any hive token or other crypto assets or even any other investment anywhere.
Nothing is better than your own business, that you are totally in control of, plus when you are able to build the business properly, it will certainly buy you freedom and values.
