The year is 2074, the world has been plunged into darkness. One girl, Sarah Doe, will learn the secrets of the dark forces that run the ruined world. With the help of a few friends, her family, and her own powers she will fight to return the world to an order not known since well before her birth. Will she succeed? Read to find out!

Scene:
Interior of tunnel. Maia and the other six are walking quickly, each is carrying a rifle and wearing a headlamp.
Woman 1: We should be getting close. Be ready for anything.
They keep walking, continuously scanning the tunnel ahead.
Catbot: Meow?
The group freezes and gets against the tunnel walls in tight formation.
Maia: What was that?
Man 1: Sounded like a cat...but there’s no way a cat could be living here...
Catbot walks into the light of their headlamps.
Catbot: Meow?
Woman 1: A robot cat? It doesn’t look dangerous....
Man 1: Have you heard about the dogs? We can’t take the risk.
He aims his rifle at Catbot.
Suddenly there is a clatter a little further down the tunnel. They all point their lights and rifles towards the sound.
Sam: Hey, leave my cat alone!
Woman 1: Who are you? How did you get in here?
They all take aim at Sam.
Sam: Hey hey, don’t shoot! I’m trying to find my friend, she brought me in here!
Maia: Wasn’t it blocked? How did you get in?
Sam: You’re not with the Party are you?
Man 1: Are you?
Sam: I’m just a street rat who made an odd friend.
Man 1: How did you get in?
Sam: Waypoints? My friend had the glasses to see them. She brought us through a hologram to get in here, but then we got separated.
Woman 1: How did you get separated? This should be one long tunnel...
Sam: I dunno. That girl can disappear with ease. Even Catbot can’t sniff her out.
Catbot: Meow.
Suddenly Sarah appears and tackles one of the men. They tumble around before she picks him up and holds a knife to his throat. The group aim at both Sam and Sarah, despite her hostage.
Sam: Nice of you to show up...
Sar: I heard them coming, so I hid, sorry I didn’t warn you, I figured Catbot would say something.
Sam: Well, you know, Catbot is too friendly to consider anyone a stranger...
Woman 1: And who are you?
Sar: You tell us first.
Woman 1: We are the Resistance.
Sarah loosens her grip on the hostage. The rest of the group keeps aim on her and Sam.
