Hola mis estimados y apreciados amigos de Home Edders hoy quiero compartir un tema en el que pienso cada vez que leo alguna reseña de lo que sucede con la educación en nuestros días, a nivel de los gobiernos del mundo la educación se ha desvinculado de lo que es realmente importante y eso no es otra cosa que la libertad de que la persona se desarrolle según sus intereses, gustos, capacidades, habilidades, potencialidades y mucho más.

Educating in and for freedom consists of allowing our children to express their potential through what they themselves want to do, and once we adults discover what they can do, we provide them with the tools so that they can multiply their capabilities. Education in freedom is nothing more than working from curiosity and discovering, making our children see for themselves the world around them, learning to value and respect every living being no matter how small it may be, is to make them the ones who are willing to transform situations they do not like or with which they do not feel comfortable.
Educar en y para la libertad consiste en permitir que nuestros niños a través de lo que ellos mismos desean hacer expresen su potencial y una vez que nosotros los adultos descubrimos lo que ellos pueden hacer le brindemos las herramientas para que ellos puedan multiplicar sus capacidades. La educación en libertad no es otra cosa que trabajar desde la curiosidad y descubriendo, hacer que nuestros hijos vean por si mismos el mundo que les rodea, aprendiendo a valorar y respetar a cada ser vivo por muy pequeño que sea, es lograr que sean ellos los que se dispongan a transformar situaciones que no les gustan o con las cuales no se sienten cómodos.
Educating for freedom is allowing our children to feel that there are no limits to learning and that each new challenge is an opportunity to grow and move forward. Educating for freedom is to show them the paths that exist and let them design their own path. Educating in freedom is to show them the difference between good and bad, between what is right and what is wrong through universal values and the rights of human beings, it is to build with them a true ecological conscience from our return to nature where we take advantage and thank what mother earth has to offer us always giving back with respect double what we have taken so that others also have nature to enjoy.
Educar para la libertad es permitir que nuestros niños sientan que no existen límites en el aprendizaje y que cada nuevo reto es una oportunidad para crecer y seguir adelante. Educar para la libertad es mostrarles los caminos que existen y dejar que ellos puedan diseñar su propia ruta. Educar en libertad consiste en mostrarle la diferencia entre lo bueno y lo malo, entre lo correcto y lo que no a través de los valores universales y los derechos de los seres humanos, es construir con ellos una verdadera conciencia ecológica desde nuestra vuelta a la naturaleza donde aprovechamos y agradecemos lo que la madre tierra tiene para ofrecernos siempre devolviendo con respeto el doble de lo que hemos tomado para que otros también tengan naturaleza para disfrutar.

To educate in freedom is to understand that our children are unique human beings, each with their own personality and way of seeing the world, it is to understand that our children have and will have a life of their own that we should not force or push them to follow in our footsteps because we believe that this is the best thing to do. Each of our children, including twins, have a character and an essence that makes them a special and wonderful person, none of us is the same as others.
Educar en libertad es comprender que nuestros niños son seres humanos únicos, cada uno con su propia personalidad y manera de ver el mundo, es comprender que nuestros hijos tienen y tendrán una vida propia que no debemos forzarlos o empujarlos a seguir nuestros pasos por creer que eso es lo mejor. Cada uno de nuestros hijos, incluyendo los gemelos, tienen un carácter y una esencia que los convierte en una persona especial y maravillosa, ninguno de nosotros es igual a otros.

For years formal education has tried to convince us that knowledge, its search and application is a generalized act that is obtained based on a program that a few people have developed, this without taking away the credit to those who have spent years studying the sciences of education where each of us is a product and in my case I was also a participant of a system that is responsible for creating walls, assigning labels, cut wings, put chains and specialist in telling everyone that dreams are a waste of time that only distracts you from reality and what you must solve in the day to day. It is just in this XXI century in the midst of the pandemic when the parents of the world have begun to wake up to the possibilities of true education that slept in our instinct of wanting to discover the mysteries that surround us, remember curiosity is the mother of all.
La educación formal por años nos ha tratado de convencer que el conocimiento, su búsqueda y aplicación es un acto generalizado que se obtiene en base a un programa que unas pocas personas han desarrollado, esto sin quitar el crédito a quien ha pasado años estudiando las ciencias de la educación de donde cada uno de nosotros es un producto y en mi caso fui también participe de un sistema que se encarga de crear muros, asignar etiquetas, cortar alas, poner cadenas y especialista en decirle a todos que los sueños son una pérdida de tiempo que sólo te distrae de la realidad y de lo que debes resolver en el día a día. Es justo en este siglo XXI en medio de la pandemia cuando los papás del mundo han comenzado a despertar ante las posibilidades de la verdadera educación que dormía en nuestro instinto de querer descubrir los misterios que nos rodean, recuerden la curiosidad es la madre de todo.
I agree that professional education should encourage the pursuit of knowledge, knowledge through science and technology, but from day zero of our life until we reach that stage of education, the best years of development of our creative abilities are wasted, Imagine for a moment what this world would be like if each one of us had followed our curiosity, our imagination and our dreams, imagine for a moment that no one, no teacher had filled our heads with negative grades, sad faces on our children's report cards or the continuous "you can't" or "you're not good for that".
Estoy de acuerdo que la educación profesional debe fomentar la búsqueda del conocimiento, el saber a través de la ciencia y la tecnología pero desde el día cero de nuestra vida hasta que logramos llegar a esa etapa de la educación se desperdician los mejores años de desarrollo de nuestras capacidades creativas, imagínense por un momento que sería de este mundo si cada uno de nosotros hubiese seguido lo que decía su curiosidad, su imaginación y sus sueños, imaginemos por un momento que nadie, que ningún profesor o maestra nos haya llenado la cabeza con notas negativas, caritas tristes en nuestras boletas infantiles o los continuos “tú no puedes” o “tú no sirves para eso”.
Today my dear friends this post is just to tell you that our children are happier when mom and dad are the ones who guide their learning, when there are teaching agents who are able to see their talent and creativity, when the educational experience becomes a life experience. It is necessary that our homeschooling experiences are transmitted to more people in the world so that all adults who are still asleep wake up and understand that education is the freedom to allow a person to take risks, to make mistakes and with the certainty that we have the tools to get up, shake off the dust and start over again.
Hoy mis queridos amigos este post es sólo para decirles que nuestros niños son más felices cuando papá y mamá es quien guía su aprendizaje, cuando hay agentes de enseñanza que son capaces de ver su talento y creatividad, cuando la experiencia educativa se convierte en una experiencia de vida. Es necesario que nuestras experiencias de educación en casa se transmitan a más personas en el mundo para que todos los adultos que aún siguen dormidos despierten y comprendan que la educación es la libertad de permitirle a la persona asumir los riesgos, de equivocarse y con la certeza de que contamos con las herramientas para levantarnos, sacudirnos el polvo y comenzar una vez más.

Hi @emimoron, very good post. Really the purpose of education is to teach to be free, to think and decide for oneself. And the main means to educate freedom is the family and the school, but certainly the latter is not doing its part, the programs are generalized, individualities are not taken care of, and when a personality stands out that does not go according to the program is labeled, creating limitations. We must educate curious children who question, that is the basis for discoveries.
Thank you very much for your contribution, I think that the school some time ago stopped focusing its efforts on learning in which people have the tools to transform their own lives and moved away from the freedom that gives you the knowledge of your environment and the experience of learning from your own mistakes and successes that no longer finds the way to regain its essence.

I totally agree with you the purpose of education should be to ensure that people find the necessary tools to be free in their thoughts and actions, that they can have a critical thinking and their own position in life and not wait for others to tell them what to do, education for decades has turned us into a kind of serial people as if we were robots that can be programmed because of this education in the so-called formal institutions is played with the future of millions of people who leave there with the same thinking and way of being. Certainly education in freedom allows us to become people with a critical thinking and a personality of our own, we each have a personality and style that should be respected and especially enhanced as we grow up, trying to make a child be something he does not like to be is to create men and women with a future based on frustration.
