Education is a fundamental part of the basis of who we are as humans, although many people undervalue it, a studied and literate being is someone qualified for almost anything in life. Many times we misunderstand the word, "education", what does it encompass? Education is a set of many things, but if there is something that defines it and makes us acquire it, it is experience.
As we know, more than a year ago an event occurred that sooner or later unleashed a pandemic in practically the whole world, this forced for a long period to paralyze many sectors that are essential in our daily life, among them were the studies, but as every cycle in life managed ways to adapt to this situation through education by technological means, specifically through the Internet.
In my case the transition was something strange, as all of us who studied I have been studying all my life in person, today I am studying Systems Engineering at the university stage and perhaps the fact of seeing a subject virtually was something that came to shock me a little, and like me to many of my classmates. And the transition was not something simple, as I mentioned in the introduction, education is something a bit complicated, and its perception and understanding of most of its concepts is subjective because it depends on what each person thinks.
At least for me, the large part of what comprises a studied being largely is experiencing, and in the remaining part how literate you are. Of course, this is not to say that someone who studies mostly the theory of something will not be a studied and literate being but I think that distinguishes him from the other, the level of situations that have been in your range of possibilities and that you know how to respond to that.
A clear example is that most good mechanics do not necessarily have the manufacturing knowledge of an engineer who assembles the car, but they have had those failures before and that has given them the ability to solve them through experience. Applied to the classroom it is evident that the basis of a good education is based on the experience that the student can get from the class he receives.
But if there is no face-to-face factor, what can the student learn?, well, here comes another factor that in my opinion is decisive for the student to learn or not, the teacher. A good teacher is always the key to a good education, and if the student feels comfortable and feels dedication behind what he is being taught, he will simply grasp all the message that you want to transmit.
This, together with the platform where they interact causes the effect either positive or negative to student, in my case it is mostly through a Google platform called "classroom", generally teachers through it are dedicated to publish content and interact with students.
This is where something that is the low or high point of online classes comes in, their teachers and the determination and way they teach. This depends on each one, but one of the things that lately have me demotivated concerning the classes is the little determination and engagement that some teachers tend to have to teach classes, and is that of course, do not get me wrong but many teachers are not responsible for making a didactic class well taught and instead only limited to schedule the publication of content made several years ago through PDFs or videos.
However, some teachers show their effort and give their best to teach their class online, in the face of any adversity that may arise and this is appreciated because first of all, it dictates a lot of their professional and human quality knowing that it is not easy to simply understand a document.
Just as teachers are a fundamental part of education and correct understanding of the class being taught, another fundamental part is the student and his or her willingness to learn. By this, I mean that while a great weight of the balance falls on the teachers, another great weight must fall on us as students.
It is useless to have all the necessary implements, high-quality content, teachers trained to give a good class, and didactic adaptation of the classroom environment if the student who receives it is not even 40% of their ability to learn, the message is an important part but the fact that the recipient is willing to accept it is also important.
Our duty as students is to provide the teacher the possible ways to impart the content and always be in constant review of what is published, but the criticism from both sides is latent when neither of the two makes available, I have seen cases of students who never review the material out of reluctance and that reluctance is largely due to the lack of commitment of the teacher.
As it is well known, education depends on both parties so that it can be successfully imparted. This online section is no exception, as I mentioned before, any deficient factor can go hand in hand with another, this butterfly effect in which an entity is affected by the decline of another entity usually happens everywhere.
Now, when a student is willing to learn but the teacher does not cooperate is when we have to be self-teachers, curious terms, but it is quite real. In most cases the document that is published does not usually cover all the doubts, the truth is that many things are left to interpretation and I have had to try to investigate because any doubt taken to the private sector only has one answer which is "in the document it is said" and no, it is not said at all.
This other thing that bothers me, I have had to be my teacher on many occasions or try to find help through youtube videos, it is not the right thing to do but it works. Of course, youtube videos or book help were also a fundamental part of the study, but mostly as a complementary part and not the whole content.
Online education is not bad, of course like everything else it has its ups and downs but the level and quality with which it is transmitted depends entirely on the two parties involved. Some subjects are necessary to see them in person because on many occasions those subjects that involve laboratories are based on their practice and it is quite complicated to do it without the help of a professional who will point out what things you do wrong and teach you if you do not know.
My experience with online classes has been somewhat average, I have had both bad teachers who demotivate me a lot and good teachers who motivate me to be more and more interested in the subject.
I think it is part of everything, what has helped me is to improve my autodidactic capacity, and at the end of the day that has developed me as a professional, or in the process of becoming one. It is essential to be constantly informed, not to despair, and always but always learn.

La educación es parte fundamental de la base de quienes somos como humanos, si bien mucha gente la subvalora, un ser estudiado y letrado es alguien capacitado para casi cualquier cosa en la vida. Muchas veces malinterpretamos esa palabra, “educación”, ¿Qué abarca ella? La educación son muchos conjuntos de cosas, pero si hay algo que la define y nos hace adquirirla es la experiencia.
Como bien sabemos desde hace más de un año ocurrió un hecho que tarde o temprano desató una pandemia en prácticamente todo el mundo, esto forzó por un largo periodo a paralizar muchos sectores que son esenciales en nuestra vida cotidiana, entre ellos estuvieron los estudios, pero como todo ciclo en la vida logró maneras de adaptarse a esta situación a través de la educación por vías tecnológicas, específicamente por internet.
En mi caso fue algo extraño la transición, como todos los que estudiamos vengo toda mi vida estudiando de manera presencial, a día de hoy curso la carrera de Ingeniería en sistemas en la etapa universitaria y quizás el hecho de ver una materia de manera virtual fue algo que llegó a impactarme a mí un poco, y como a mí a muchos de mis compañeros. Y es que la transición no fue algo sencillo, como bien adelanté en la introducción, la educación es algo un poco complicado, y su percepción y entendimiento la mayor parte de su concepto lo abarca la subjetividad, porque esto depende de lo que cada quien opine.
Al menos para mí, la gran parte de lo que comprende a un ser estudiado en una amplia manera es la experiencia, y en el restante de las partes lo letrado que seas. Claro, con esto no quiero decir que alguien que estudie mayormente la teoría de algo no será un ser estudiado y letrado pero creo que eso lo distingue del otro, el nivel de situaciones que hayan estado en tu abanico de posibilidades y que sepas responder ante eso.
Un ejemplo claro es que la mayoría de mecánicos buenos no necesariamente tienen el conocimiento de fabricación de un ingeniero que ensambla el carro, pero han tenido esas fallas anteriormente y eso les ha otorgado la capacidad de resolverlas mediante la experiencia. Aplicado a las clases es evidente que la base de una buena educación es basada en la experiencia que el alumno pueda obtener de la clase que recibe.
Pero si no existe ese factor presencial ¿Qué puede aprender el alumno?, bueno aquí entra otro factor que en mi opinión es determinante para que el alumno aprenda o no, el maestro. Un buen maestro siempre es clave de una buena educación, y es que si el alumno se siente cómodo y siente dedicación detrás de lo que le están inculcando simplemente captará de manera sencilla todo el mensaje que se desea transmitir.
Esto, conjuntamente con la plataforma donde se interacciona causan el efecto ya sea positivo o negativo al estudiante, en mi caso en su mayoría es mediante una plataforma de Google llamada “classroom”, generalmente los profesores mediante ella se dedican a publicar contenido e interaccionar con los alumnos.
Aquí es donde entra algo que es el punto bajo o alto de las clases online, sus maestros y la determinación y forma con la que enseñen. Esto depende de cada uno, pero una de las cosas que últimamente me tienen desmotivado con respecto a las clases es la poca determinación y enganche que suelen tener algunos maestros para impartir clases, y es que claro, no me malinterpreten pero hay muchos maestro que no se encargan de hacer una clase didáctica bien impartida y en cambio solo se limitan a programar la publicación de un contenido hecho hace varios años mediante PDFs o vídeos.
Sin embargo, hay maestros que se nota su esfuerzo y dan lo mejor del todo por impartir su clase de manera online, ante cualquier adversidad que pueda haber y esto de verdad se agradece porque primeramente, dicta mucho de su calidad profesional y de su calidad humana al saber que no es fácil entender simplemente un documento.
Así como los maestros forman parte fundamental de la educación y entendimiento correcto de la clase que se imparte, otra parte fundamental la conforma el alumno y su disposición de aprender. Con esto me quiero referir a que si bien un gran peso de la balanza recae en los maestros, otro gran peso debe recaer en nosotros como alumnos.
De nada sirve tener todos los implementos necesarios, contenido de alta calidad, maestros capacitados para dar una clase buena, y adaptación didáctica del entorno de clases si el alumno que la recibe no está siquiera a un 40% de su capacidad para aprender, el mensaje forma parte importante pero el hecho del que lo recibe esté dispuesto a aceptarla es importante también.
Nuestro deber como alumnos es facilitarle al profesor las vías posibles para impartir el contenido y estar siempre en revisión constante de lo que se publica, pero la crítica de parte y parte es latente cuando ninguno de los dos pone disposición, he visto casos de alumnos que nunca revisan el material por desgana y ese desgane es a raíz en gran parte del poco empeño del profesor.
Como bien se sabe, la educación depende de ambas partes para que pueda ser exitosamente impartida. En este apartado online no es la excepción, como anteriormente toqué todo factor que sea deficiente puede ir de la mano de otro, este efecto mariposa en el que una entidad me es afectada a partir de la decadencia de otra entidad suele suceder en cualquier lado.
Ahora, cuando un alumno si tiene la disposición de aprender pero el profesor no coopera es cuando nos toca ser auto-profesores, curioso termino, pero es bastante real. En la mayoría de veces el documento que se publica no suele abarcar todas las dudas, la verdad muchas cosas quedan a interpretación y a mí me ha tocado tratar de investigar porque cualquier duda llevada al privado solo tiene una repuesta que es “en el documento se dice” y no, no se dice en lo absoluto.
Esta otra cosa que me molesta, me ha tocado ser mi profesor en muchas ocasiones o tratar de buscar ayuda mediante videos de youtube, no es lo correcto pero funciona. Claro, antes los vídeos de youtube o ayudas de libros eran parte fundamental también del estudio, pero más que nada como parte complementaria y no entera del contenido.
La educación por vía online no es mala, claro que como todo tiene sus altibajos pero el nivel y la calidad con la que se transmita depende enteramente de las dos partes que se ven involucradas. Hay materias que son necesarias verlas presencial, ya que en muchas ocasiones esas materias que implican laboratorios se fundamentan en su práctica y es algo bastante complicado primeramente hacerlo sin la ayuda de un profesional que te recalque que cosas haces mal y te enseñe si no sabes.
Mi experiencia con las clases online ha sido algo mediano, he tenido tanto profesores malos que me desmotivan bastante como profesores buenos que cada vez me motivan a interesarme más por la materia.
Creo que es parte de todo, lo que si me ha servido es para mejorar mi capacidad autodidáctica y a fin de cuenta eso me ha desarrollado como profesional, o en vías de serlo. Es algo fundamental el informarte constantemente, no desesperar y siempre pero siempre aprender.

Difícil tarea el balance correcto entre lo que esperamos como estudiantes y lo que esperan los profesores, en algún momento tiene que haber un programa de adaptación para que ellos se adapten y todo mejore, desde las disposiciones de cada casa, hasta la conectividad. Saludos
