Now that the system has been changed to remove the penalty on low end votes, the account can better reward comments with voting, so I'm going to make a change regarding the comment rewards to make life a little easier for myself as things get busy elsewhere. Don't worry, the rewards will still be coming your way, just in the form of votes and beneficiaries. The goal of this account is ultimately to support the community.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@emiliomoron
@cmplxty
@emimoron
@majo77

One of my favourite contributions this week came from @mildredwg. It's an interactive game which can be utilised in different ways to get both the body and the brain active. A great idea as many schools go into the long, summer break and still have lockdown restrictions keeping people home.

@melbourneswest raises a topic that has been surfacing a lot of late, as lockdowns have brought a taste of homeschooling to families who may never have considered it before and notes an increase in home education rates, after schools returned to action. He discusses why he's looking into it and why others might have different views on it.

@nildasalazar discussed whether there is a vacation when homeschooling. There is often that worry that such a long vacation means students will lose ground in their education, but having a break from formal education is also important. Do you observe the vacation periods as homeschoolers or do you have a different approach?

Here is some holiday fun with word search puzzles, from @arrliinn, demonstrating that learning and holidays can be combined.

Having a child on the autism spectrum can be challenging and I appreciate @sherylneil sharing her education journey with her eldest. She talks about her mindset and shares some of the activities which have seen results.

Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @abundance.tribe as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
