Coming from a family of keen chess players, I guess it was only a matter of time before @romeskie's daughter started wanting to learn how to play. Naturally mum and dad were happy to oblige and encourage.
If you need any more reason to limit you children's social media, then perhaps @sumatranate's review and personal reflections on The Social Dilemma will be the clincher.
What to do with an energetic child when the weather no longer allows for much outdoor time? Turn their bikes into indoor exercise bikes, maybe. @cmplxty demonstrates this little trick and mentions how burning energy off can help with academic focus too.
@sarimanok brings us an upcycling project the kids will enjoy, decorating old plastic bottles to make pots and vases. Not the usual painting with brushes, this time, instead utilising water dipping techniques.
