Hello to all the members of #Home-Edders✨!!! Today I am very happy to participate in this contest, where they invite us to share what the cost of living in my country #Venezuela is like. I hope you like my participation!😊

Happy day! Today I will share a little about the economic madness that we live in my country. I am Venezuelan and I live in Venezuela, for several years we have been suffering from an economic phenomenon that for many has no explanation, a hyperinflation 📈💸📉 that day by day consumes the quality of life of the Venezuelan, this was generated as a result of government changes that are not positive and that added to the pandemic, it has turned the lives of many into a horror movie.😫
Our current currency is the bolivar, but the country's economy is in dollars💵. In addition to this, devaluations are not only presented in bolivars (because it should be noted that we have an exchange rate that is updated twice a day), but we also suffer a devaluation in dollars at the same time because prices are not maintained, they vary as in the same day 3 to 4 times.💸
The Venezuelan minimum wage is 1,800,000.00 Bs with an additional food benefit of the same amount, which makes a total of 3,600,000.00 Bs of integral salary per month, this at the change of the day of Today 04-04-2021 (according to the dollar rate today 1$: 2.230.823,93 Bs) is equivalent to 1,61$.😥
To give you an idea, I am going to give you a simple example of the madness that we live here: Currently the cost of a kilo of beef🥩 is around 3.5 $ (getting it on sale), being ours integral salary of $ 1.61, is something impossible to acquire😐. For things like this, the Venezuelan and I write in the plural because somehow we are all suffering from the same crisis, he is forced to do extra work or as we colloquially call it here "kill a tiger", develop some business or in most cases leaving the country in search of opportunities to cope a little with the situation and try to have a better quality of life.👍
As for the acquisition of real estate🏡, the minimum cost of a house is around $ 5,000, based on the current salary of the Venezuelan ($ 1.61), we would have to work approximately 259 years, more or less 5 continuous lives👵, of an average of 50 years each, to be able to acquire a house, although it sounds sarcastic it is our sad reality😐. The Venezuelan purchasing power is really on the floor 📉and due to the changing economy, the credit benefits obviously disappeared, because with the constant change in the rate, it is not a business to sell by parts or on credit for anyone.
However, this economic madness, in my personal experience, has helped me to know my abilities both to save money and to generate extra income😊👍, my husband and I work for the public sector and obviously our salaries are quite low. Thank God 🙏 we got to know the world of the blockchain💻, which has helped us to generate income that is largely used to provide sustenance at home with food, medicines 👨👩👧(at home we all have different pathologies, hypertension, chronic allergies and insufficiency vitamin) and personal hygiene and hygiene products. I have learned to produce at home 🏡 products that I normally buy prepackaged and ready-to-eat, from sauces for meals, 🍰sweets for Lucia, to household items with recycled materials. We save as much as possible and consume the right food without generating extra quantities as in previous times when we had many containers of food in the fridge with leftover food.
In the bad weather, good face😊, I do not lose hope that my country will overcome this crisis and that everything will improve for us. However, I have always said that it is better to take care than to worry👍, that is why my current focus is to solve and improve the quality of life for both myself and my family to the best of my ability 👨👩👧, and the main engine that drives me to stand firm , positive, active and eager to fight day after day from the hand of God is my daughter Lucia.🥰

Espero haber aclarado tus dudas! Feliz día y gracias por leer y comentar! Saludos
