Good morning my valued community. As a teacher I always want to innovate with strategies so that my students learn and do it with enjoyment. When I saw my 5-year-old godson doing his homework at school, I noticed that he was confused recognizing some letters, therefore, he had to be instructed so that he could write properly. At this moment it occurred to me to make a didactic game with the alphabet in upper and lower case, so it would be easier and more meaningful to remember them. I used useful materials and transformed them to achieve an excellent result. This idea can be very useful to many parents who help their children with their academic work.

Procedimiento
Procedure
- With a ruler I marked rectangular squares 6 cm wide by 12 cm long.
- I cut out 27 squares (all the letters of the alphabet in the Spanish language) and painted them blue.
- On the internet I looked for a suitable font to mold them in upper and lower case.
- I cut out all the letters and glued the corresponding pair in each rectangle. Here we could also make them directly on the cardboard, that idea is very valid and it would look very good.
- With the help of a fine pointed brush, I marked the edge of each writing.
- With two rectangular lines I divided all the cards. In this way I separated the uppercase letters from the lowercase letters. So the child will be able to find which one corresponds to him.
- Then I made a mixture of water and glue to cover the cards and thus protect their surface.
- Finally, I made a cloth bag to store the game. I put an adjustable strap to close it.
I hope this letter game is useful to you, the recognition of the letters represents the initiation to insert children into the wonderful world of reading. Through this we awaken curiosity, feed the imagination and develop critical thinking. The important thing is to stimulate them in a fun way, so they will not see school assignments as an obligation.
I think my son will going to love this activity. With that being said, I will do this as part of homeschooling my son. Have a nice day ahead.
