Happy christmas! Today we are sharing our 5 minute artwork for this holiday season. This activity is inspired from Pinterest, there are so many cool and easy ideas you can select from. We choose these popsicle sticks for a quick and easy activity for this festive season.
You will only need a few materials for this fun activity. I must say, this is a very good activity to practice fine motor skills and development, especially for children who are having a neurological disorder such as Sensory Processing Disorder - It's a condition that affects how the brain processes stimuli or sensory information such as sense of smell, touch, hear or things you see.
Materials to Use
- Cotton balls
- Googly eyes
- Colored sticks
- Red paper, cut in triangle
- Red circle or fluffy ball
- Spare buttons
- Glue
- Scissor
- Cardboard, cut according to size
First, we glued and lined the sticks into the cardboard.
Next, we added the cotton balls to make a beard and hair.
Then we put in the googly eyes. red circle and the buttons.
Lastly, we glued the red santa hat at the back and were done.
It was easy and fun. We hit two birds in one stone By practicing his motor and listening skills, which is a challenge for an SPD child. We placed his artwork in our christmas tree, he was joyful and proud. He look at it every time.
It was wonderful to have you and Thank you for coming with me.
Have a Very Happy Christmas!
Beautifully done, Robbie!
