Hive Stalwart has No End Game.

We are all going to Heaven Hive Yayyyyyy (1).png

A Hive Stalwart is complaining alot about the price of Hive this week after it sank to under 10 cent for the first time in ages. However with a KE ratio of 0.00 it really does not make a difference which or whether. He will not sell if it gets to €10 per token or will not sell if it gets to 1 cent per token so it does not really matter what the price is. He ain't selling.

@justjeremy is confused because he had got into crypto to make a few pound on the crypto markets by buying low and selling high but as soon as he got involved in the Hive community and started chatting to people on Discord , he has not sold 1 single hive token since onboarding on Steem 10 years ago. And with the launching of this KE ratio and the displaying of said KE on the Peakd platform to guilt people into staking it has gotten worse so he ain't gonna sell shit. He now judges people by their KE ratio whether they are scum of the earth or law abiding citizens. He had succumbed to the digital version of "Keeping up with Jones" unknowingly and Hive stake meant everything.

"The loyalty police guilt you into staking and not selling so I am just gonna keep staking and staking and never sell. Never ever. Even if Hive goes to 1 cent then whats the point on selling at that point. I may as well keep it all and go to the grave with it."

@justjeremy suffered a breakup of his marriage last year after he had lost their house for not being able to keep up repayments on the mortgage. The payments were the equivalent of what he would make through curation and posting. It came to a point where his wife proposed to take some Hive out to pay the shortfall to stop them from losing the house but @justjeremy refused. He would rather live under a bridge than to have the same KE as that scammer on Hive that takes takes takes and drains the reward pool. A couple of months later they were indeed living under a bridge so enough was enough. She was gone and had now shacked up with some other geezer who didn't sit around on his computer all day and become embroidered with the latest tinfoil helmet bum to rugpull their own mens shed Dapp.

Now that @justjeremy was back on his feet he reread the messages his now ex wife had written him.
"You put so much time into Hive but what is the end game?"
"They promote posting and curating for rewards but discourage transferring these rewards to other crypto exchanges. Then what is the point of the cryptocurrency at all then?
She had a point, It is all just a waste of time if he was not going to use the 300,000HP he had built up over the years? @justjeremy was conflicted. He had listened to whales preach a sermon on the mount but could see the same whale was transferring HBD into Hive ( after getting funded for keeping the wotzits tied to the mainframe) . Of course this did not interfere with the KE ratio as the HBD came from a separate fund. Nicely done.

It was time he started thinking about the end game here. Does he cash out when Hive reaches €10. It was a blockchain after all. If Toncoin , Arbitrum and all these blockchains can be floating around this price then why couldn't Hive? He text his wife saying he will sell at €10 but received the reply. "You have been institutionalized, You will never sell." This came as a shock to @justjeremy Hive was meant to be anything but. As he smugly signed off on his latest post.
@justjeremy
[EMIGRATED FROM STEEM AND NOW A HIVE STALWART]

A tinge of sadness swept over him. I sacrificed my life for a blockchain which has no ROI. Buaaaahhhhhhhhhhhwaawawa. He stopped crying by the only way he could. He checked his wallet to cheer him up. Another reward was in his wallet to claim. It was like a drug at this stage. Some people had creamy pints, some people had heroin, some had prostitutes. He had the Hive vesting reward system. He cracked his fingers for the next post he would write. Just then the postman delivered a letter. It was divorce proceedings.

@justjeremy scanned the letter for a list of demands.
Custody of children - They are 17 years old now so who cares!
Cat - no problems there. Walking fleabag and he always hated how the cat looked at him.
House
half of all 150,000 Hive - WWWWHHHHHHHHHHATTTTTTTTTTTT?!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This was a disaster. His KE ratio would now be over 0.5 if he had to give her this value. How could she do this to him? Set up an alt account and transfer in the 300k in Hive to throw her off the scent.
But wait? He spend hours upon hours boosting about every transaction being public on the blockchain. There was no privacy. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He would now be a pariah in the Hive Community with a KE ratio of 0.5. He may even come up in a "Most Unstaked" monthly collation post by one of the whales. This is a nightmare. How can this be? How could she do this to me. It is only about 15,000 USD at these prices. He got onto his ex wife and asked her would she take cash. She replied saying she does not need the cash and she wanted to teach him a lesson so it had to be Hive.

@justjeremy was an honest man all his life. He never stole , never asked for money. He was proud. He wasn't a sponger. He hated them. But now was the time he had to take action of his Hive political career was all but over.

He began writing the application for 150,000 Hive to the DHF entitled B2B extravaganza and he asked for funding to fund his B2B onboarding. @justjeremy barely knew what B2B was and how it affected Hive but the decentralised uppercrusts loved the term. He thought for a second about if there were any businesses actually on Hive and he couldn't think of any. Then why all the B2B . It had been mentioned 76 times in funding wallets in 2025 alone. It had even overtaken the words "merch" and "miscellaneous" in the wallet memes. It wasn't long before the funding was approved. He transferred the funds into Binance and Julie got her Hive. That was a close one thought @justjeremy. Now all I gotta do is fake a shit load of receipts and chat to a couple of businesses and everything can return to normal. He did feel a little bit dirty but needs must. He was just happy he got one over his ex wife and his KE ratio was unaffected. One day he may cash out but Hive is all he has now and nobody was going to take that away from him.

Thank you for the smiles....so amusing, so true....hehe

Living under a bridge means you always have a roof over your head.
Not too shabby.
Best to keep that KE intact.
Looks like another work around was managed to keep ex-wifey happy.
The community is always happy to help when a hivean is in need 🧐

😃. True about the bridge but you wouldn't last too long under a bridge in my part of the world. 🤣.

They call it Diamond hands. You would have thought the ex wife would have had more patience. The modern woman wants instant riches and needs to be retrained.

How much Hive did you other half want off you?😄

This is why we have to diversify.

I rang your wife there and told her about all that Coti you have squirreled away

I'm probably going to face some massive backlash pretty soon here. I don't really feel like I have much other choice though with the prices being where they are at. We will see. I'm still one of those folks who is here for the long haul. At worst until zero.

are you gonna cash in some do you reckon @bozz? Don't you will regret it. I'm buying myself at these prices.

Yes and no. It's all on chain, so it's not like I am trying to hide anything. I pulled a bunch of my HBD out of savings. I was going to move it into BTC when the price was $86K, but it moved up faster than I expected. I would have made back the 15% I am missing out on pretty easily if I had gotten in at the right time.

Yeah I get you. Good time to do a bit of trading alright. I have 500 HBD and I am converting this week

I'll be honest: with a background like that, I would have approved @justjeremy's proposal 🤣

!LOL

That was a close one

Sure was, thank goodness there was a solution.

That's the kind of fairytale ending I can read to my grandkids 😍

🤣🤣🤣 and he had his KE forever ever after

Dohhhh it’s happily ever after . And here I am with two young kids and I missed this

"The payments were the equivalent of what he would make through curation and posting."

I need a hovel like that. My rewards wouldn't fund a mortgage on an ant farm.

Hmmm. @justjeremy is a thinking man's thinking man, seems to me. Perhaps I could get some creamy prostitutes and pints of heroin from the DHF?

Thanks!

a hovel 🤣 🤣 🤣. Did you ever check out Antscanada on Youtube. You will thank me later.

. creamy prostitutes. ah man , you crack me up 🤣

That guy keeps a colony of fire ants in his house. I'm sure that's illegal in Canada, just like having pit bulls. As a side note, it's relatively easy to genetically modify social insects like ants, because you only have to modify one queen to modify all the population. Given that CRISPR is in the wild already, turning such colonies into security mechanisms is increasingly likely going forward.
