Es hat etwas gedauert aber jetzt ist es soweit: @borsengelaber ist ein verifizierter Hive Account!
Dazu musste ich den Link eines Hive-Posts sowie den Link eines Posts auf einer anderen Social Media Plattform einreichen. Bei mir war das Twitter. @hivewatchers prüft dann ob die Accounts tatsächlich von ein und demselben Autor stammen. Das soll Fake Accounts vermeiden. Super Idee finde ich, gerade für Autoren, die auf mehreren Plattformen aktiv sind und ihren Content auf Hive posten. Bei mir sind das die wöchentlichen Podcast Episoden aber auch regelmäßige Einschätzungen zu Aktien oder Krypto Charts.
Kennt ihr das Badge? Was haltet ihr davon?

It took a while but now it's done: @borsengelaber is a verified Hive account!
To do so, I had to submit the link of a Hive post as well as the link of a post on another social media platform. In my case, that was Twitter. @hivewatchers then checks whether the accounts actually come from one and the same author. This is to avoid fake accounts. I think it's a great idea, especially for authors who are active on several platforms and post their content on Hive. In my case, these are the weekly podcast episodes, but also regular assessments of stocks or crypto charts.

Hmm das kann man doch auch dann indem man bei twitter sein ahive ccount postet und umgekehrt. Damit qürde man das ja auch bestätigen?

👍🏻 Das ist richtig, nur dass das sonst jeder selbst einzeln für Accounts prüfen müsste. Hive Watchers machen das sozusagen als Service und vergeben das Badge dafür.
Man muss allerdings auf Nachfrage auch zeigen können, dass man Zugriff auf den anderen Account hat. Z.B. indem man etwas kurzzeitig ins Twitter Profil schreibt was einem über den Hive Account mitgeteilt wurde.
