Feature Request: Reblog a Comment in the Main Feed

in #hivelast month (edited)

Here is a screenshot of a coment I made on what seems to be @jarvie AI agent.
It calculated the Hive debt ration and got it wrong ... this tells you how convoluted Hive debt calculation is, the AI cant get it :)

And I wanted to share this, but I'm naking this short, from my alt account.

It would be great if we have the option to reblog a comment in the main discussion. This will be a major boost to Hive disccussion as most of the interesting things are in the comments, but not a lot of people see them.

X/Twitter has this a long time ago. And plus it can incetivize more dissucssion as maybe those comments will be rewarded and overall more interactions that is the key for a social media.

What do you mean with "reblog"? A quote similar to what you can do in a snap?

here is how x/twitter do it, the author has replyied to someone and then just reposted that, so everyon can see the comment in their main feed and give more visability to his comment. You can do that with all comments, from whatever author, so when i go to my feed on peakd I will see not just main blog posts, but also reposted comments. Quotes are extra.

On Hive you cannot reblog a comment. That is a core change, not something I can enable on PeakD.

But you can "quote" in a snap. It's not the exact same thing, but close

Yea I know, its not a top level post ... not sure is there a way around this via frontend

Turned out I was wrong. You can actually reblog a comment as you can see in the next screenshot (I reblogged my above comment from my alt account)

I will improve on this so it's better supported

OK, great .... where is the button :)
