This is a view behind my family's house which is a fish and tiger shrimp farm or now vadamme shrimp.
In this place I used to spend a lot of my youth with my brothers and sisters, around the nineties. Lots of good memories and bitter memories here happened.
No one can measure the future, not suspect today, this is life. I took these photos when I came home to visit relatives and the people who were still living, who used to be together are now separated from each other. The long story here was engraved thirty years ago. This is also the place where I grew my youth with the water of this pond, starting a life full of twists and turns. Today will be repeated memories of the past which was full of challenges.
This area is where I sit writing about a slightly unattainable future, all the people who accompanied me along where I asked for advice and opinions are all gone. In the era of the nineties this place was a historic and haunted place in particular and in general Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
At that time we as local residents were like birds in our hands, every day and night corpses were dumped on the road, at that time it was better known as the DOM (Military Operations Area) era.

I defended this place in fear and indecision with various kinds of threats, the villagers all felt uncomfortable with my presence here at that time.
The story is long, there are many useful people here to think about the plight of the oppressed commoners. Many large camps exist in this area, such as storage areas, torture of people they suspect to the Rancong Lhokseumawe persecution camp where they are. There are so many voices groaning in pain from the claimants of the land rights of their birth and not taking the rights of others, this is the place where everything will be accepted.

This pond is where we find food and grow crops and the majority of the people of this village and this area are pond farmers. This area is a large industrial area in the world, the gas and oil production industry, PT. ARON LNG. Who is not familiar with the petro dollar area that was victorious in the 90s, the local environmental community is hungry, the doubts of living in poverty to this day. Local residents can only see the fence wall of giant companies with gas and oil refineries, today oil refining experts are also looking for other new places the environmental community is always being targeted without priority as people born in the land.

We as local residents in this pool is a place to raise children, provide education for children to be successful, we are just our land, don't be forcibly plundered for their interests so that the results that are in the bowels of our earth can be taken, no matter the owner . Here's a glimpse of my past at this place.

Today, even though I don't live here, many of my brothers and sisters are still in the place of birth and looking for food to continue their next life.

Finally, this place is also the place where a big event took place at the KKA intersection, the shooting of civilians without weapons brutally by TNI officers in 1999.
