Look... I just wasted 10 mins of my life listening to your rant on twitter. You approach this the wrong way, and you give the troll what he wants. Attention and drama.

Steem/Hive was taken to market with the 'Earn rewards for your content' slogan. EVERYONE in here is acting purely for the rewards, and we all know that everyone thinks the same. This created a very toxic atmosphere. The problem is sadly not limited to bernie, as most other whales will act the same (maybe in less obvious ways).

People are scared of those whales downvoting them, so they will never go against them. If bernie starts calling you a XXX, you instantly become a XXX in everyone's brain because that's how the 'hive-mind effect' works. Nobody will say the opposite, nobody will defend you, in fact even some people will start repeating the bad words used by the whale, in the hopes of a fat upvote, re-inforcing the fact that you are indeed a XXX.

You have a medium-sized followership, you look good, you speak good english. What the fuck are you still doing on Hive? Hive needs you more than you need them, don't worry about the fact that bernie is wasting daddy's money to have fun on this shit network. If it wasn't him, I promise you it'd be another whale finding another reason to downvote you.
