Possibly the BEST - WORST Mistake I've EVER Made? ~ #boughtmorehive

in #hive3 years ago

Loving this price action today! Went to go buy some more and double clicked 50% of my BTC available, so essentially 100% of my BTC and the order filled in a nano-second. LOL!

It literally started dropping right after that! I'm just laughing at myself like..."dude, you just fucked up."

But on the other hand I'm like..."dude, you just bought a ton of HIVE".

Oh man, I don't know what to think right now. I'm obviously more bullish about Hive than I am any other project besides maybe BTC, but I didn't mean to buy THAT much, at THAT price.

Oh well, we'll see how this plays out.

Will it come back to bite me?

Or did I just luck myself into a big winner???

that's nuts. Cant you undo your mistake now and have some profit. The hive price scares me lol. I jumped out at $.39 because I felt like I wanted a little cash. I've been waiting for steem/hive for 4 years. I couldn't take it anymore. I'm a dummy

It literally dropped as soon as I bought it, so no profits (as of yet!) to take, lol.

I’ve been bullish on this chain since forever, so I’m not super pissed, I’ve just never made a mistake like that and spent a lot of my BTC.

I traded my btc for steem in 2017 because I liked the idea of earning crypto instead of just watching btc rise and fall. It wasn't much. I bought btc for $400ish in 2013 but it was all of it.

I lost big and had to rescue my money by posting. I was made whole the day Steem/Hive forked. Now I'm in profit for sure but until the last month Hive hasn't been fun. Now I love it again but I hope it doesn't break out yet. I'd like another couple of years of low prices. I want to have a nice bag again lol

I still have some BTC, so not the end of the world. And I'm more bullish on Hive than anything except maybe BTC, so I'm not selling for the long haul anyway.

I love it regardless of the price, always trying to be active even if it's just manually curating. The future for Hive, I see, is very bright. Just might take some time. But these pumps always help ease my mind like, "am I crazy???, nah!!!"

I hear you. I'm having a ton of fun losing at splinterlands right now.

Biff! Stay hopeful and stop those jittery fingers of yours. I am sure hive is going to see it's hayday soon. How's business going, I hope things are moving in the right direction for you, this could be the start of something huge. I am betting on you.

I very rarely have jittery fingers, lol. But the price kept rising, my "bid" price kept getting invalidated. Then when it went through, I got trigger happy, and boom, cya BTC. Hellooooooo HIVE! Hahahaha, so far looking good. I'm here for the long haul regardless, but happy to see something happening.

Bar/rest. hit a small snag, we'll see if it was a blessing in disguise. Don't bet on me, I might do a rug pull on ya! ;) jk, I would never do that.

Hopefully it will work out well for you, nice pump right now.

Indeed a nice pump. But I literally was the last buy at the top of the candle, hahahahaha.

I know in the long term I'll be fine, but I didn't mean to get rid of that much BTC, for as much as I love Hive.

Good luck, the casino's always open :P

Thanks dude. Never had much luck at the casino, I prefer investing to gambling.

I've got a funny feeling that things will work out. Anything related to crypto is a gamble and you seem to be a gambling man, heck, you moved to Mexico and that gamble was huge.
Don't forget what your grandmother said. I think it went something like this.
Money is so dirty even the pigs won't eat it. 😁

Oh man, you remember my great grandma Dolly quote, that's awesome.

I don't see Hive as a gamble, tbh. Yeah, I could lose everything, but I could lose everything doing almost anything else. I see a bright future, and so far, I have no reason to think otherwise.

Never been and still not, a money hungry dude, just want enough to support my family. Enough to spend more time with them, instead of slaving away so they can eat.

Living comfortably enough so that you're not always chasing the buck is what it's all about. When that happens one gets time to spend doing what they want, and on the top of the list is being able to spend QUALITY time with the family.

That’s the goal man! Failure is not an option.

Love the attitude, it's the only way to fly!

If I'm estimating the timing of this post correctly it seems like you're probably still in the green on this accidental trade. Congrats!

hahaha, as of me writing this, I am up slightly. Also was able to sell a quarter of it at over a buck, so no complaints.
