I DO!
It was 2017.
The entire crypto scene was going crazy, all sorts of forks and airdrops were happening all over the place.
STEEM jumped in value, so did most cryptocurrencies out there.
Towards the end of the year we were told that there will be SMTs and WOW, did the hype start!
Our hearts were all pumping, we were all full of hope and ideas!
LITERALLY WE WERE ALL SO EXCITED
WE THOUGHT THAT THE WORLD WAS OURS!
Well, what literally held us back was that idiot Ned with his own f#cked up egoistic narcissistic dream of having his own clone of Reddit, the site that we know as steemit.com and which = “neddit”.
So many people with great ideas and incentives to get things started, ended up feeling as if they were not able to achieve anything without the support from whales and of course, Steemit Inc.
Which was actually in too many ways too true!
So, we saw things go from all hyperactive to literally a slope that was all downhill from there.
Yes, that is the shit that we went through, without getting into all the semantics and details that went on during that downhill trend.

HERE WE ARE.
NO NED.
NO STEEMIT INC.
NO CENTRALIZED WEBSITE THAT TAKES THE LINELIGHT FROM OTHERS.

I can honestly say that I see a little bit of a spark there again, that same spark that can light the fire in our hearts that we had back in 2017.
There is a tingle of hope again among so many people out there.
We have an opportunity to make happen everything that we dreamed of back in 2017.
It now depends on all of us to make it all happen.
There is no room for supremacists who think their sh#t doesn’t stink.
There is no room for f#cktards who only care about themselves.
As everyone is a part of Hive, every one of us as individuals.
It is really up to each and every one of us to go out and make our dreams come true.
No more “them and us”, “they” do not exist anymore. It is US = everyone, including me, you and anyone with stake, no matter how big or small it may be.
IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?
WHY WAIT, THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY THAT SO MANY OF US WERE WAITING FOR!
GO 4 IT!
GO MAKE YOUR IDEAS COME TO LIFE & LET’S SHOW THE WORLD THAT WE ARE A BLOCKCHAIN OF UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS AND NOT JUST “NUMBERS” AND “CRYPTO CURRENCIES”.

Gotta evolve man. I think of Steem as the caterpillar that is now in the HIVE cocoon.
Yep, a lot of people were confused about many things, I am no exception to that.
It was not easy to drop the name Steem and continue on with the dream.
After all, it was a name that was part of our lives for 3 + years and after all, we are all no more nor less than humans.
Hive to me is the dream coming to life again, the same dream that many of us had in 2017 and which was crushed by Ned.
But that ned saga is now in the past.
Thanks to many people who had not lost the vision of a decentralized chain that is safe to use and probably one of the most reliable out on the market, we can now move forwards without that ball and chain shackled to our ankles. Nothing and nobody holding us back any more, except ourselves.
So time to start our engines, rev them up and slam that pedal to the metal.
