Hello!
This feels like a bit of a metaphor for where we are at the moment, not in terms of the blockchain blogging platform we use, but with the virus and stuff. The path that we thought was familiar turns out to be submerged. We'll have to go round it and take a detour. We can still get where we thought we were going to get for the time being, but things change so quickly, who knows how long that will last. Those who have been practicing non-attachment are grinning and nodding although I don't know anyone who is not also disoriented, shocked and experiencing grief for what might have been in March, April and May and beyond.
Anyway, we've got a new blockchain to play with! Lots of it feels the same as the old one. I've tried getting into peakd, but couldn't work out how best and safest to log-in. Advice and pointers to instructions would be appreciated. My main focus at the moment is looking after the older members of our congregation, I don't have much time to read all the stuff about what's new in Hive compared to Steem, if anything.
My feeling about Steem is to stop blogging there for the time being and see what happens with the proposed tronification. I dunno. Can't get too excited about any of it at the moment, just keep trudging the path.

NB - if it doesn't mention it, once you've unzipped the file, open it and cut and paste everything into a new folder, then drag it into yr browser in developer mode.

I was just thinking today how the most depressed 5-10% are probably going to get worse - sitting in front of the TV binge eating for a month or two - the 'liveliest' 5-10% are probably going to do great - put into place income action plans and get all those chores done, bond with the kids,

Well I will be here rather than on Steem from now on. PeakD works okay with the new Hive Keychain. It is not the best time to be launching anything new, but a lot of people may have time on their hands to work on building it up. We should start by helping out some of the established creative people and then look to recruitment. We need to show that good content is appreciated and that it's not just a cliquey circle jerk thing.
