Hello Hive!
So exciting! We're on a new blockchain, the motivation (mine as well as that of countless others) is at an ATH, and the start was very close to flawless!
I had the honor of including the first transaction - thanks to @helo for the screengrab!
Apps and nodes will have to adjust, this was to be expected. There was an unfortunate mistake creating the airdrop blacklist, but being a community blockchain I'm confident we will have this fixed quickly.
Vote for me as a witness to provide infrastructure
With the newfound freedom and opportunities, I decided to renew my witness campaign. While I was glad to be out of the top 20 during steemit's reign due to the lack of influence the community could really exert, with them gone I aim to get back up there again. I have ceased all activity on Steem and will focus all my efforts on Hive.
For that, @curangel already moved, steeminvite (or hiveinvite) will follow as soon as things settled a bit. It's also planend to extend the functionality to public invites, as (one of hopefully several) main onboarding spots.
In the past I have been managing a public API node, which I would reinitiate when I gain a top witness spot. As keeping infrastructure available is more important now than ever, I also commit to keep it up at least 3 months should I (temporarily) drop out again when it's running.

I adapted steem-python to work with the new symbols, and initial small tests went successful. There will most certainly be bugs, the unit tests don't seem up to date, and who knows what else. Contributors welcome. The source is available at https://github.com/pharesim/hive-python

Really excited to see Hive Invite get up & running. It’s always been one of the best & least known tools out there.
Is there anything else we can do to help support infrastructure right now, other than buying Hive to support price? For instance, I’d love to see hive.blog get verified as a Brave publisher ASAP, to donate some of those tokens for expenses.

Congrats on the first transaction, that's really something! My node is still replaying, will start campaigning myself after it's done.
As far as I understand, we can use hive.anyx.io infrastructure and node as an API node? I want to port steem.supply as soon as possible to HIVE.

Danke für deine Antwort mit der sehr interessanten Frage! Damit musste ich mich auf dem Steem nicht beschäftigen. Es gibt einfach ein funktionierendes Wallet. Ich hatte auf der Wallet-Seite von Hive bislang noch keine Alternative gewählt und werde schauen, wie ich dort weiter komme. Soweit ich mich erinnere, habe ich auf Keychain geklickt und bin ebenfalls nicht weiter gekommen. Das probiere ich nochmal.
Gibt es eigentlich irgendwo eine Beschreibung für alle Steemians, wie man den Wechsel auf Hive vollzieht, oder glauben die Entwickler etwa wie üblich, es sei selbsterklärend? Ich bin nämlich nicht der Einzige, der hier auf unbekanntem Terrain herum stochert und das tut, was er glaubt tun zu müssen. Zum Beispiel hatte ich auch erst eine Weile nicht auf dem Schirm, dass ich auf die hüpfende Schaltfläche „Hive*s Active“ klicken muss, um überhaupt rein zu kommen. Das Teil muss hüpfen, wenn die Seite aufgerufen wird und darf mit dem Hüpfen auch nicht etwa aufhören!
Bedenke, ich bin KEIN IT-Anfänger! Wie mag es all den Hilflosen gehen, die keinen Mut haben, alle Mögliochkeiten zu probieren? Wie viele Steemians haben sich bereits enttäuscht abgewendet? Du weißt doch eigentlich ganz genau, dass sehr viele von uns überhaupt keinen Plan haben. Dann auch noch diese Sache mit der scheinbaren „Blacklist“. Das hatte verheerende Wirkung. Dieses Missverständnis könnte man z.B. an prominenter Stelle auf dem Steem kommunizieren und bitte, bitte endlich Mal ganz ohne Abkürzungen, die zwar allen Entwicklern geläufig sind, aber sonst keinem der IT-fernen User,
Die einzelnen Interfaces haben alle noch das eine oder andere Problem, in den nächsten Tagen wird sich das normalisieren.
Für den normalen Benutzer ändert sich nicht viel, ausser dass er herausfinden muss welche website welche chain benutzt. Ob es da Listen gibt weiss ich nicht. Bezüglich des Airdrops und der Kriterien gibt es sicherlich einige Posts.
