It bothers me since the beginning!
when someone votes on your post ~ it says $0.xx
but then you discover it is actually 0.xx HIVE
definitely not the same value!
am I wrong?!
ps. it is clear that you take the half of it at the end, but WHY the votes say that you earn U$D, while actually it is HIVE tokens?
The symbol $ is not USD, it’s HTU or Hive Token Units...while they are related to dollar value, they are also affected by whether or not the post hits threshold and how many votes are cast during that reward period, and other complications.
From what I've been able to research, there's so many variables that affect it that it's impossible to predict actual payout beforehand.
