The last edition of the Hive Power Up Month challenge is now over. Once again, this challenge has proven how difficult it is to stay committed for a whole month, even with rules as simple as:
- do a power-up of at least 1 HIVE or a 100% Hive Power post every day of the month
- do not powerdown

Some stats about the challenge
Since a few months, we see a renewed interest in participating in Power Up Month. Each month, many wish to take part in the challenge but few are those who hold out until the end. This is what gives all the value to the badge they receive and justifies the delegation of Hive Power that we give them.
For the October edition, with have 37 winners. Congratulations to all of them.
Let's compare the number of winners month by month.
And now, the winners list
Among the 37 participants to have held on without failing, we have 16 users who chose the publication with a 100% HP payout option, and 21 users who preferred the power-up way.
They will soon receive their "Power Up Month" badge:

@tydynrain said that he missed publishing one of his daily posts (which are 100% Reward Powered Up) for a few seconds, making the October 2026 #HiveBuzz Hive Power Up Month badge not available to him. 🧘♂️ !PIZZA
🤔🪙🌈🧟♂️❤️👟🤝👍
Oh no, I hope he is not too worried about this. Sometimes, we can be occuoied with busy schedules and forget other things we have prioritised. My best regards to him anyway. November is on the run again.

Some Hive users would say though that "it's just a badge", and "how the user helps the community is more important" or something similar. 🧘♂️ !PIZZA

Congratulations, my friend, and yes, very sadly, after more than 4 years, I missed the posting deadline by a few seconds, so for the first time in a very long time, I'm not in the list this month. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Sad to hear this. I can relate to this pain. However, please take it as it has come. This time too shall pass. Don't take it too serious.

Thank you @cagolistic
It's a pleasure 🙏
How wonderful to see I met each day’s power up!
It’s all too easy to let life get in the way and muck it up by on hour or two because of travel, time changes, or both.
It’s not an easy thing to achieve, even with earnest intentions and especially when friends are no longer participating in PUD or drastically powering down.
Thank you @arcange for keeping #pud going month after month! 😘
Thank you @alessandrawhite ❤️

Totally agree! Life and time zones can get so tricky, making it a real challenge to keep up every single day. Huge respect to @arcange for running this too!
Thank you @suhlaing
