If you follow my @mattockfs account, you might have seen my post proposing a peer advertising system for HIVE.
I haven't started coding yet. First I'm working on updating and completing the design (I'l be posting on that subject soon from my @mattockfs account), and taking care of some logistics, including github pages for the sub projects, and setting up accounts for usage by the subsystems.
The accounts, especialy this one, the @pibarabank account, are not meant to be permanent. I'm a dev, not a witness, and as such my accounts should be considered to be low trust. In the end when the system is up and running, I hope to replace this account by one owned by a witness willing to run the production stable version of the HIVE advertising system, once we reach that milestone.
So what is this account for? During system development and testing, this account will be the account where you send (testing amounts) of campaign budget to. This is also the account doing weekly pay-outs of earned HIVE from clicks.
Note that there will be zero owner revenues from this account. All deposited funds are either paid out (75%) to content providers and burned (25%), fully burned in case of dispute (at most one day worth), or refunded. The bot on this account won't be interactive.
Note that during early development, there is a chance a bug could burn the funds you deposited for your campaign or earned with clicks. That a bug could refund what should have been paid out or vise versa. So for now make sure that when something is running, you don't make large all at once deposits for your campaign yet.
There will be no compensation of bug-caused losses by @pibara / @mattockfs during the alpha-testing stage.
I will try to create a partial warranty system for bug-caused losses with delayed burn before we reach beta.
The interactive part of the HIVE advertising system will run in alpha/beta on the @pibarabot account.
