Thanks so much for such updates ! I used to stay longer at Den Haag and at that time , OV just rolled out but I can still go to nearby train station for a day pass when I am not walking around .
Amsterdam was only day trip and flying in and out for me at the time. You are right you don't need to stay in Amsterdam, just that I forgot how late the trains are available. Maybe they change it now?
