RE: 2021 🐝 Hive Blockchain Games 🎮 - The ecosystem is expanding!

Nice to hear from great players like you.

The second half of 2020 was a crazy boom. It felt like a new game got launched every week.

To be honest, the school of businesses into blockchain is not a very known one. Hence what works on normal businesses (where usually everything is hidden to outsiders until investors are happy with it) does not apply here. This is an environment where people enter your house, invade your privacy (if you allow it), get your nerves and then bring the best of your skills to the point of making a point in terms of...

Can you make it or not, in terms of a difference? and do you know how?

That's basically how blockchain works at the moment. Underneath all the crap that usually hides normal businesses strategy.

We can't (unfortunately) pressure too much against comparisons until things are fluid enough to compete. That's how I see things at least. But on the other side, I can challenge everyone trying to make a point... How many beta/alpha testers do you find on normal businesses that have the skills we have? In terms of quantity!? None!!! Nowhere! Nada!

There is absolutely no other place on earth that I can find free beta-alpha-investor testers... like this. If there is a rich soul that understands this and has enough power to feed money into a targeted community like this one... they will get rich! Very FAST!

Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to drive management like such, even if I know how to manage teams like those.

Can't be perfect!

Sort:

Was more the other way around. The devs get from the blockchain environment. Especially when the package involves what you just said as well.

But yeah, things eventually will go the same path. I am not eluded... but while it lasts, I will enjoy it as it is.

I don't believe it will be like that, there are lots of great ideas that sometimes bring special features to the table and usually can't be simulated without blockchain and the community it is involved with.

But, I do agree with the part where you say that when the game is good, it's simply because people like to play it, not because of any other things.

I also believe that because of the decentralized nature of blockchain (the ones that are decentralized), there are lots of "features" that will only emerge on games that use blockchain-based backends, that otherwise would be too expensive to "reproduce" using traditional server centralized-based systems (even if by regions like most game factories are divided into).

Anyhow, I like to maintain the positivism about this. Especially because it brings the possibility for many that dumped their bosses and didn't find any alternatives.
