I see some good and bad reactions in our last post for mentioning many people who have used Twitter, thanks for leaving the feedback, really do appreciate it.
The same mistake will never happen again in the future, my intention was to only boost our promotion while using the popular app Twitter. My apology to everyone π
I guess I understand why people may get upset, I know some peeps don't like mass mentions, but I know you are an active voracious TwitterHive promoter and understood it was done with the best intentions. TBH if you are planning on creating an 'opt-in' style list of those who are happy to receive notifications about Twitter promo stuff in future... Count me in!
As somebody who has never really used Twitter in the past, I am surprised at how much I have enjoyed using it to target bloggers, writers, streamers, investors and other types of content creator to help them become aware of Hive.
I've been a little inactive the last week or 2 due to some family issues but intend to up my game again and double down on bringing the mighty Hive to the masses. ππ

I love the idea of using centralised social media to gain more awareness of what we have here. After all, that's where the avid social media users are! If Johnny and Jenny Average can't come to the mountain, the mountain must go to them, right?

Twitter is the paperboy. Decentralized media (Hive) is the paper. There are two different distinct branches of social media. One is used to create, the other is used to pass those creations around. Youtube, for instance. It would be nowhere near as popular today if people weren't sharing videos on Facebook many years ago. Each piece of unique content on Youtube became free advertising for Youtube, once it hit social media and got passed around.
Very important to know the difference when building something like Hive. Hive is more like Youtube than it is Facebook or Twitter. Twitter is a tool meant to be used at our disposal. Not the competition.
Quiet valid point you mentioned here, we are hustling everyday to promote Hive on Twitter. I don't have any hope for Twitter in the long run but I am still using it until the wheels fall-off to the ground like @theycallmedan used to say. Thank you for the encouragement buddy <3

Behind some of the harsh criticism you received, was pure honesty. Peel away the surface and that's what you're left with. I recently wrote a post, yesterday, and talked a little bit about this phenomenon. Pure kindness in disguise. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

It's fine buddy. I know your intention was pure and only for Hive's betterment behind this mass mentions! For me it was just a notification, and I am OK with the mention as I didn't know about this TwitterHive promotion. But it's also true that not everybody gonna like this mass mentions.

Fully understand your intentions man. But quite surprised/shocked by how so many were like so angry to have been supposedly being disturbed by a notification or two!

If only they knew how much efforts are being made on Twitter each day by some, just to spread the word to a bigger audience...
Maybe they prefer chit chatting around only among the thousands they are here thinking that by magic..Hive will go trend and millions of users will flock in!

I don't use social media much, I have too much activity programming stuff. I saw I got tagged somewhere as a witness. But I did not feel (or did not get) anything hurting in what you mentioned.
