A FUN WEEKEND
With it being memorial Day in america, we had a long weekend to try to get a lot done at the homestead. Some was work, and some was play.
Below is a video of Evan driving the new homestead tractor for the first time. He did amazingly well and he seems to really like it.
RASPBERRY VINES
While I was mowing the field, I happened to see some wild raspberries growing in the grass alongside it. They were suffering from not getting enough sunlight, and possibly not enough good nutrients from fighting with all the other grass and weeds around them.
I was able to take a shovel and collect a few of them and transplant them into our garden. I'm hoping now that they are in sunlight and able to get good nourishment but they will produce a lot of delicious berries!
The other plants and seeds that we had planted seem to be doing pretty good as well. There is a couple of bugs eating on them and we haven't figured out what they are yet but we will and will remedy it.
