I spent the afternoon on the couch dehydrating nasturtiums. I filled both dehydrators as I had not yet done any nasturtiums. It was to dip into the 30’s Friday night and nasturtiums are the first to succumb to frost.
Because there is still a gaping hole in the kitchen, only covered by a sheet of plastic, and the addition has not been closed up yet, we decided a fire in the cellar would keep the house from getting really cold. So we have our first fire of the year, a bit early due to the construction.
