I was reading Justin's latest Tweet today being not so sure on where we stood anymore. I do believe there are some grey areas and that is down to the Chingrish translation. I never knew it was this ,bad but the Chingrish is definitely a thing. We should have realized when Justin first called us Steemies/Steemy. i do believe he has an army of people behind him whose job it is is to crate as much noise when he does something. This I think is partially why we are getting so many mixed signals.

I don't think Justin is stupid actually quite the opposite, just maybe lacking in English as it doesn't come across as it should. This has caused panic and smiles all in one go yet no one knows exactly where we still stand. Justin has more to lose than all of us as he invested the money as he saw what an opportunity this was. If Justin scores big we also score big as Steem should be on for a wild ride.

I then thought I need to look around and see what others are saying and luckily @aggroed had some words of wisdom that made sense. Others have been flying off the handle and don't seem to have a proper grasp of things and is more knee jerk. Read this if you haven't seen it already.

What we need is the emotions to be taken out of this and clear heads who know what to do. This is important as we could still get royally done if we are not careful. I trust no one with my Steem future except someone else who is as passionate about this place as me.

I am still super positive as whatever happens all of this is going to take time and nothing is instant. We all know how long Steemit took to create SMT's and we still don't have them 3 years later. This won't take 3 years though and if @aggroed is correct on his assumption ,the sooner the better.

We have super clever people all around us and I am afraid I am not a technical genius. We all offer something though as a collective we are an army. No other community or crypto really understands us as we are to most probably weird or odd as they literally have no clue until you are part of this place.

This is the time to use all your witness votes and make sure @aggroed is one of them as apparently he is now down at 16 and needs to stay in the top 20. My aim is to carry on as per normal powering up everything I can get my hands on as who knows your Steem may be important keeping the wolves at bay clawing at the witness positions.

I am completely confused too as these very folk who are preaching calm heads and potential for positive outcomes are busy powering down - it is all so incongruent, unless I'm missing something!?!

Haven't checked that out, but could just be a coincidence or we are left holding the baby.

Check it out, you'll be surprised... 😬

Chingrish translation
english is my 3. language and i do understand the problem with speaking live, all that is fine. but Chingrish translation in official tweets. and you kinda seen that steem people are not happy and don't know what is going on. Some effort would be nice.
I already said this. we were pissed of on Ned for lack of communication. oh the good old days...

I think it’s really important to look at the acquisition of Steemit Inc programmatically for the Steem Blockchain and it’s all users - which expands far beyond just blogs we have so many @steemonsters only players and others that have a wallet just for their various dapps they enjoy. Let’s not forget Steem offers a wallet like any other cryptocurrency - but unlike any other cryptocurrency you can do so many amazing things with that wallet - that’s the appeal.

I’m no cryptocurrency genius, and can not give financial advice. But Justin Sun bought with Steemit Inc a massive amount of Steem - the numbers bounce around but it doesn’t really matter - that Steem is his investment. It’s the same Steem you own, I own and everyone else with a Stake in Steem owns. Why would he do anything other then try to make the value of that Steem climb?

Yes. I do agree with that unless he was just trying to eliminate any competition for his future projects. I am hopeful this is't the case and it becomes something much much bigger. When companies acquire other businesses they normally incorporate the bits they want and not necessarily the entire package. It wouldn't take much to get the Steem price up and he has his investment back plus profit.

That is my feeling, he will do whatever he can to increase the Steem value and that will benefit everyone that holds it. Who knows what his other plans are, that is a different concern and only time will tell.

I personally think the only way to look at this is at an investors point of view, Justin Sun purchased Steemit Inc and also a massive amount of Steem they held. Why on earth would he do anything to reduce the value of that Steem? It makes zero sense, he has the same Steem each of us holds to see a roi he will move Heaven and earth to raise it’s value - and by all counts he has the marketing skills to do that.

Whatever happens the people with Staked Steem will not loose out, in fact most likely the value of their stake will climb. Maybe the Steem Blockchain as we know it will change, or become a Tron chain - but that’s not really a worry for a majority of stake holders. They just want to know the Steem they bought or earned will keep value in the future - and I am confident it will in one form or other. That’s why I’m not powering down, in fact I’m going to power up more!

Yes. That does make sense and I only see Steem climbing in value from here on in. I joined when Steem was at the $4 mark and in my head it hasn't moved and I still see it as that. I feel it has the legs to do so much more which I am certain we will see over the next year or so.
