Crypto market is here to stay, we can conclude that from the number of users that are interacting within crypto and related markets. Concept that is introduced with crypto currencies is that all assets can be tokenized, and physical assets could be tokenized with crypto assets, that will provide financial relationships around them. It is a revolution that is coming towards us, and could change the way that we are thinking about financials, in a same way that was already done with introduction of paper money instead of precious metals at the beginning and paper-less money instead of paper money lately, with a growing percentage of people that is using debit and credit cards instead of cash, to pay for goods and services. Crypto will provide direct possibility for paper-less money transactions without involvement of third party, bank or financial institution, which was only possible with cash prior to crypto assets introduction.
Product Protocol mission is in line with above mentioned, to create a decentralized marketplace that will allow enterprises to solve current problems and benefits from blockchain application for a real-world challenge. Stages that are foreseen by Product Protocol development team are verification, as first and important step to verify existence of physical assets, digitalization of verified assets, comprehensive criteria based evolution of the assets to find appropriate value for it, monitoring of assets status in real-time, identification of asset ownership and, as a final step, tokenization of verified and identified assets. Tokenization of assets will create possibilities for improved ownership rights, where these can be divided between several parties that have ownership over different rights regarding asset, that can be sell or bought on the market easily. Unauthorized access can be denied, as well as data encryption for the asset that can be introduced into the network to improve security protocol and reduce number of security issues that are involved. Smart contracts will allow for customization of assets and automation of business logic around the asset, that will provide reduction of decision time and risk, as well as decrease in management costs.
Product scoring service will be introduced to grade products, since high quality products need grade to be high priced. Scoring service will include following steps – first step is request for scoring, after which is inspection of the asset, followed by evaluation of asset value, indexing of value and tokenization of verified and evaluated asset. This will create digital identity for the asset, that will ensure unique digital identity for each asset unit. All information will be stored on blockchain regarding digitalization, that will ensure consistency and transparency through immutability feature of blockchain. Product protocol is foreseen PPO token as universal token for tokenization of any kind of assets.
Regarding token sale, foreseen number of tokens is 100 million, with 65 million planned for ICO. Roadmap is currently is stage IV, where integration of more than ten real sector companies is foreseen, with public sale and token allocation planned to be finalized until the end of third quarter 2019. Platform launch and global expansion is planned for next stage, with exchange listing and integration of more than forty real sector companies.
