I've worked on this character long ago but this project stretched due to one guy in the middle for more than a year. Finally everything is settled and the story finished well. So I would be glad to post some parts of this project here from time to time.
Sketching stage
Favorite part of my job is sketching. Those guys I've created during sketching stage are so fun to look after the project is finished. Each and every one of them could be the final. I love them all.
But client wanted something particular and it may be different from my vision. It's all right. Who pays can choose the music.
Some sort of evolution of my small bee boy. And few coloring/correction stages according to my client comments.
I even was ready to stop on the last one without a nose because I just like it but not everyone can understand that. Maybe look weird a bit...
So here is the one with final touches accepted and went to the production.
They've asked me to create front, side and back views so they could make a 3D doll out of it. Can't wait to see it. They will keep original look as close as possible.

Спасибо! Нет, это для турецкого бренда подгузников Bumble Baby. Ну у нас всё полосатое как будто для Билайна :) Не знаю, вконтакте по-русски я просто написал "пчёлкамен" :)
