Vacation destinations on the Hills

  1. Tipu's Drop
    The popular place from where Tippu Sultan had his sentenced detainees tossed to death.

  2. Tipu's Summer Palace and Fort

    It is said that Sage Ramakrishna pondered here.

  13. Paragliding
    Nandi Hills is one of the interesting spot in Karnataka which offers paragliding action.

  14. Cycling/biking

Skandagiri
Skandagiri, otherwise called Kalavara Durga, is a mountain stronghold found around 62 km from Bangalore city, and 3 km from Chikballapur in the Indian territory of Karnataka (13°25′03″N 77°40′58″E). It is off Bellary Road (National Highway 7 Hyderabad-Bangalore Highway), and neglects Nandi Hills and Muddenahalli. The pinnacle is at an elevation of around 1350 meters. This traveler spot has been shut by the backwoods office when kept an eye on 21 May 2016, They guaranteed somebody was killed in the slopes and that is the reason its shut for public.
