Introduction
The purpose of this piece is to serve as a critique for the purpose of rebutting the nonsense authored by one Jim Bright whose opinion is of such an extremely academic leaning that it bears little relevance to reality. Mr Bright has clearly displayed the quality I will expect to define 2021 in one term: moralization of hypocrisy.
Inasmuch as Mr Bright goes to lengths with his explaining of a skewed and overly saturated news media landscape we find enveloping the world like a highly contagious pathogenic virus in 2021, he lacks the self-awareness to realize that all his views represent is the opposite end of the extreme.

Any intellectual rigor one expects as a standard for tackling the contentious subjects of disinformation, alternative narratives and the poorly defined threat that incitement online represents is absent. Mr Bright shares his opinion and like a coward, refuses to name names despite every single news media presstitute and fake news hub repeating Donald Trump's name every day for over four years now.
Predictably, Mr Bright simply tows the line or in the case of this particular theme of nonsense, the wire. The Newswire that is.
He offers nothing new except yet another stumbling, blathering rehashing of the political themes that Newswires disseminate worldwide. Mr Bright by his own words is an enemy of the people due to his amplification of an inserted political narrative. I wish Mr Bright a cold stark morning light creeping in at dawn one day when he wakes up when he suddenly shakes off his bedcovers and realises that it is now he, he with his degrees and esteem, who is left alone.
Dissection of Disinformation & Misdirection
The idea is that is you can divert a person's or the public's attention by communicating alternative narratives that are sufficiently seductive that we don't pay attention to what is really important.
There is indeed an alternative narrative spread to divert the public's attention from what really matters and that narrative means big bucks to academic social science hitmen such as Mr Bright.
Sometimes the calendar provides all that is required.
What has the calendar shown you for the last 4+ years?
These plans are winners because inevitably they will divide the electorate, with some loving the promised future and others panicked the freeway will go straight through their gardens.
The electorate is not a public that continues to exist insofar as it would be defined within a representational or constitutional democracy. A lot of the voting population in countries worldwide consider voting nothing more than choosing your team's colors and hoping they win the final. What's worse is realizing that this is the best case scenario amongst the ever increasing examples of anti-democratic, anti-political governments rising to power. It is an eventuality that voting will be done away with entirely in our lifetimes; I didn't vote for 5G, nor the World Health Organisation unleashing a sophisticated psychological operation that spread like a virus all across the world in 2020.
Never mind that the Ethiopian Director General of the WHO is a literally communist insurgent and terrorist.
So would it be fair to appropriate Mr Bright's phrase that "winning plans for dividing and distracting the populace" is exactly what Covid is (but on a global scale?).
There is that word again; the literal toe dip to test the waters of pretending you can pose as an authoritative viewpoint with any confidence.

His reference to the public's susceptibility to the novel which seemingly we can't help ourselves to is interesting as he equates it to being especially dangerous when we run interference on ourselves. His quip of a fictional Twitter Guru named Sushal Media is a no-brainer: should be renamed Pruhfessa Bwight.
I do concur that we are constantly led away from confronting our lifestyle choices and more important our resignation of freedoms. Tweets do play a massive part in that, infact all engineered social media universes are estimated to be about 50% automated botnets that retweet and amplify nonsense. It's very easy to get deflected in such a world so I guess that's why I decided to critique this article by perjoratively reading it in depth and "going down the rabbit hole."
This superficiality is the enemy of good relationships, careers or personal development. Rarely, if ever, can satisfaction in these realms be achieved from digesting a tweet, or gawping at a photoshopped "perfect" life. We end up being guided by inane cliches that feed our increasingly brittle self-concepts.
I totally agree. Now with global covid lockdowns and closed borders, it's difficult to create new quality relationships, careers and develop yourself personally. Rarely if ever will humanity from 2020 onwards be able to reject, disobey and yes - destroy the stalwarts of the #covid19 BioTerror Dystopian mainstream narrative.

You mean via online communications such as livestreaming video calls and discussions through social media platforms?
It is more a case of be the change that your imaginary friends want, rather than what you want. It is time to get real.
Can't get real in several states and municipalities in Canada outside of the hours imposed by the mainstream medical militia martial law.
Drop out of the virtual and drop into real life. There you will find you are truly wanted, and have valuable things to offer. And that will help you address those difficult questions about who you are and what you want to do with your life right now.
You have Seemingly offered a way forward to those floundering around and through the realms of on-line communication by asking them to ask themselves questions. Very, very poor quality advice Mr Bright: it may have stood on its own merit prior to our globalised BioTerror Dystopian Mainstream Narrative but now, thanks to people like you we are meant to believe we only have ourselves to blame for say, cutting ourselves whilst in government mandated Quarantine hotels or increasingly brittle mental states or our burgeoning increase in addictive, damaging behaviors.
So there you have it: The Moralisation of Hypocrisy. Mr Jim Bright has evoked many emotions in me and I relished the opportunity to target his masturbatory piffle piece with my own critique. I encourage other authors to do the same, timestamp and archive the links to their original, shameful lies and consider letting them know our criticisms exist.
And that they will continue to exist; uncensored, immutable and aggressively calling out the cunts for what they are.
