Has anyone noticed that those who seek to rewrite history don't appear to know jack shit about history? Folks probably need to use more humility and less hubris before rushing to publicly condemn our flawed ancestors. Well, if some people feel compelled to offer condemnation, that's fine. But please don't burn the books. Or the museums. If you think Orwell got it wrong, that's cool. Add your ideas to the marketplace of ideas and see how they compete. But don't cancel his voice and others like him from whom we have much to learn.
