opinion in regards to Bolton's claims of Trump and the Uighurs

The more serious allegation being released from John Bolton's book is the claim that Donald trump gave China the go ahead to run the Nazi concentration camp against the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region's [XUAR] Uighur Muslims [hereinafter Uighurs] as a quid pro quo political favor. https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-china-detention-camp-xinjiang-2020-6

For those who don't know, the Chinese have kidnapped the Uighur Muslims and put them into concentration camps, starving them until they violate their faith and eat pork, putting them in slave camps to produce cheap goods, and harvesting their organs in the black market.

Is there a deep state? yes. Bolton, the war hawk, is part of it and wants Trump out of office for not getting his war with iran-or other places. What is perhaps unique was he was allowed to speak up against China. Perhaps the deep state is made up of competing interest including china and the military industrial complex or multiple deep states, and we should take note in their particular scope in who they are and are not allowed to criticize. At present, the USDOJ through the courts is trying to punish Bolton for criticizing the president.

That said, the military industrial complex may indirectly have it's hands tied to the Chinese concentration camps. Remember the bloody military contractor blackwater from the iraq war? Eric Prince founded that company, and FSG. FSG is a company that reportedly built/invested in Uighur training centers. Eric Prince is the brother of Betty Devos. We should investigate who all is attempting to profit from the human rights abuses in China and follow the money trail.

One could argue China might say have Said Donald justified their treatment of the Uighurs, if Bolton's allegations were true. But again, that would be admitting crimes against humanity to the world-if they considered the world any sort of threat. Rather than admit these crimes, they would be like Justin Sun and try to deny involvement to the rest of the world to try to maintain good public relations and plea of innocence to their crimes-which they are doing by dismissing it as propaganda.

If Donald Trump were to endorse the abuse of the Uighurs, it would certainly turn me off from voting for him....except for one detail. Joe Biden is worse and his own son Hunter was investing in apps used against the uighurs, and I gone through a similar hell due to Joe's VAWA policies that are used to silence political speakers. So in picking your poison, I certainly don't want Biden; He should be frying in the electric chair for his crimes against Americans. If all the allegations made by Bolton are true, Trump would still be a better president than Joe Biden if you are an American-Biden who was also behind putting 100k cops on the street, and the mass incarceration of black people with no regard to proportionality. Is it time to look to a third party? I am not sure it would change things even if a third party did win. But I can assure you the deep state would rather have a warmonger that violates human rights with dementia, than a president who recognizes America can't be the world's police.

While it remains within the possibility that china mentioned the concentration camp to Trump, it is unlikely that they came out and said, hey we are going to commit a massive crime against humanity against the Uighurs and we seek your approval as John Bolton would have us believe occurred as early as 2017. Furthermore, Donald trump would have interpreters and secret service agents, many of whom would walk of the job had that been the case-and certainly speak up immediately. Bolton himself waited until a book was published right before an election while such atrocities were allegedly being approved with a rubber stamp; there was a substantial lack of urgency on Bolton's part to do the just and moral thing had his claims been meritorious.

Now granted, it is possible that the Chinese came to president Trump and mentioned about how they were going to provide housing, Provide jobs skills, and provide jobs, access to doctors, to help rehabilitate the Uighur Muslims into Chinese society. You know the usual sales pitch of the socialist/communist left: free food, free housing, free education, job placements, free health care; A socialist paradise is the same as a prison. Here is how the DW reports how the chinese marketed their concentration camps [date unknown].

There might be a Chance that the Trump administration would endorse some type of humanitarian effort of integrating of the Uighars into the rest of China-but it would be propaganda and a false narrative to say Trump endorsed concentration camps.

Now I am sure some people will say that Donald Trump is a cold hearted xenophobic islamophobic Orange Cheetoh. As I said above, Joe Biden is worse, and it is pick your poison. Also, Donald trump recently signed the uighur human rights act criticize the Chinese treatment of the Uighurs. Bills, unlike executive orders, take time to get through both the house and senate, so the timing isn't due to Bolton's book. And as I think I said long ago, what can we really do about it [except stop buying from China]. Any military action against China will not end well.

China has or is trying to take over Hong Kong, Taiwan, parts of India, stealing crypto out of users wallets, they are running Nazi styled death and labor camps. They are showing to the world their unstoppable hegemonic power, and the rest of the world cowers or are in near media black outs. They threaten Australia for trying to find the truth of the origins of covid19, and they threatened the united states if Trump passed that bill pressuring china over how they treat the uighurs. https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/china-warns-us-of-consequences-after-donald-trump-signs-uighur-human-rights-act-2248064 . Even Muslim countries have stayed mostly silent on the matter. https://www.france24.com/en/20181219-interview-dolkun-isa-world-uyghur-congress-china-reeducation-camps-uighurs-muslims , but at least Al Jazeera spoke up many time.

People can do a custom date range search on google, it's not perfect, but it helps in trying to see what the past was like. We still have some time before google can edit the past, due to independent and private ownership, until google buys up all it can-though it doesn't have too buy anything to selectively disappear historical narrations it doesn't like.

from 2013:

Granted the Uighurs weren't always a source of sympathy, they were allegedly assisting the Taliban in and prior to 2018-and the US government dropped many gifts from Santa's b52 to them. They were our [US/China] mutual enemies in early 2018.

There is certainly a window between when the uighurs were painted as a chinese terrorist group, to when the Uighurs were rightly seen as victims of a communist state. It is possible that Bolton is right, that at the 2018 christmas party Trump himself didn't make that realization. Nonetheless his administration, aside from Tillerson, was right on the ball. And Trump fired Tillerson as secretary of state in march 2018, his replacement, Pompeo, immediately started to chew out China.

Donald himself was trying to get American allies to confront China Since early 2019. Here is an article from March 31rst 2019.

As claimed by John Bolton:

https://www.wsj.com/articles/john-bolton-the-scandal-of-trumps-china-policy-11592419564

Of the human rights treaties many countries ratified, many countries, including the United states, never signed the first optional protocol that allows individuals to petition the UN for help. The other venue to give the UN jurisdiction is for a country to file a human rights complaint against another-It is rarely done because it is not in a countries rational self interest to do so. So if the US were to apply too much pressure on a superpower like china, guess who would be going to the UN to put sanctions on the United states. Because of the misconduct of the police and the judiciary, the United states really lost its teeth in advocating for human rights when we are one of the world's greatest violators of human rights upon our own people. Our SCOTUS had the ability to end qualified immunity, but instead they played political favors to Trans activists at the detriment of individual rights.

Watch out for CHAZ/CHOP if it is ever recognized by the UN.

Much of the criticism by Bolton and others, is that Trump was complicit and either encouraged or allowed it to happen. People wanted leadership out of Trump on the matter of the Uighur's, even as our farmers were going bankrupt and killing themselves en mass from the loss of trade faster than the new tax revenue could subsidize them. There are many economic issues involving china besides the Uighurs too, such as product dumping, currency manipulation, and the trade deficit-and retaliatory tarriffs.

As our Covid19 response shows us,the chinese has too much economic and manufacturing might in the world. They are infiltrating our media, our entertainment, and our academician institutions. Talk about the rights violations against china are strong, but most of the world cowers before them.

Cowering to that poison will not stop the economic bleeding and rising pro-china elitism. If they aren't taxed and sanctioned out of competition, the west simply will not be able to compete against slave labor. The wealth of nations will continue to flow into china, who will invest strategically to further their strategic goals in other nations.

Some might say that Covid19 offers a great incentive to stop china because it has left them particularly vulnerable due to their extreme lock down procedure; China has a shortage of food. US trade sanctions, and the freezing of assets, would mean that China would have to comply to human rights obligations or starve and that it would be in their rational self-interest to comply with human rights. But the thing about dictatorships is they really don't care about the people, and they might chose to starve the Uigyurs to death. Trade sanctions are rarely a good way of handling human rights violations, and why the death toll of trade sanctions, can be deadlier than the war itself. Only the people being killed are more likely to be your allies in opposition to the evil regime-and the inner circle, including the military, are protected.

Really the one way to deal with bad leaders like Xi Jinping is to take them and their loyalist out. But unlike John Bolton, I am not sure that the taxpayers want to pay for a war, want to risk a nuclear war, or want to send their sons and daughters over to a nation that hasn't harmed us. There are plenty of Uighurs who could assassinate Xi Jinping or other leaders of China and the world would think that is just. Alternatively we could see about a compensated emancipation and buy their persons and/or the XUAR as a us territory. Should china pull a repeat, they would be damaging our property/territory and our war against them would be just....but we might not be able to stop the Uighur extremist that could create a just cause for China to go after us.

Even though trade sanctions will hurt the Chinese people. The rest of the world owes it to their own economies to stop buying and depending upon china and build up their own economies and manufacturing capabilities. What i find fascinating is how easily the left can cancel or attempt to cancel political speakers across the globe like Milo, Loomer, Alex Jones, Tommy Robinson, and many others...But they never any take the effort to cancel China or other human rights abusers.

Someone spoke an idea that they felt was racists, and they'll be out there trying to get the guy fired (I have had Chinese/steem agents targeting me on hive), and get big tech to cancel any media outlet who ever carries them in the future. But china is killing Uighurs, enslaving them, and they'll still be driving their electric cars and buying the latest iphones with slave made batteries, sipping overpriced star bucks coffee made from slave harvested coffee, packaged by American slave labour, and think nothing of it. But that is ok to them because of their virtue signalling. if only the left were as effective at canceling real human rights abuses than they are people who expressed an opinion they didn't like.

Sort:

And the Chinese media in response propose their own George Floyd human rights act branding the US as the world largest human rights violator, and there is talk about getting the UN involved if the US doesn't repeal the Uyghur Human Rights Act.
