It guarantees a light, food on the table, payment of school fees etc.
Proverbs 18:22
God instituted family life and therefore not a product of tradition.
God is the one that instituted work. 1 Thes 3:10b - only those who work are permitted to eat.
Due to technology and social media, it is increasingly becoming difficult to separate work from family life.
Our life is a mixture of different roles - spiritual, friends, career, family, service to humanity etc.
People that have a more stable family life are energetic, creative and very productive at work.
WHAT IS FAMILY LIFE?
These are routine interactions and activities that people have together. The key is doing things together. It is people enjoying what they do together.
****What is Balance? ****
This is an even distribution of weight. This is evenness.
What is efficiency?
It is doing things well, successfully and without waste. This is a journey and not a destination.
There is a need to balance personal and professional life as an individual. It is wisdom to prioritize your work and personal life.
"Balance is not something you find, it is something you create."
TO CREAT BALANCE
1. Establish a sure foundation. Psalm 11:3
Have a personal relationship with God.

Your personal relationship with God would always show in the things you do.
Make time to pray, study the word of God and talk to people about the things of God.
Make Gods word your companion.
2. The key to knowledge. Hosea 4:6, Luke 11:52
• Knowledge of Gods word.
• knowledge of your assignment
• knowledge of family life
• consistent knowledge upgrade.
• know that your life activities are integrated and not separated!
Knowledge is a direct product of prayers ...when you have the knowledge, you might not need prayers in that area.
Acquisition and application of relevant knowledge are what equals success.
3. Be armed with dedication. Proverbs 22:29
Dedication is the platform for distinction.
Whatever you are not dedicated to, you cannot be distinguished in.
Dedication would surely show in every area of your life - Family, finance etc
4. Wisdom - the principal thing. Proverbs 4:7
• Make wise decision
• Live a purpose - driven life
• Be organized/schedule daily assignments
• Put people first before things.
• Take the right steps at the right time.
5. Create strong family relationships.
• Spend quality time with family members.
• Create relationships with spouse/children that are not incidental but instrumental to your success.
• Create/Organize a family calendar.
• Family Vacation
• Put your house in order!
6. Emotional Stability/Intelligence
• Don't carry the stress of your workplace to the home.
• Always arrive home with joy and excitement.
• Reduce to always look tensed.
Balance family life with work does not only increase efficiency but reduces stress, ensures mental and physical health.
• You can get a vacation from work, but family is a life you cannot really get a vacation.
Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.
Create an equilibrium between Work and life.
