Hive-Engine is really a very excellent ”sandbox” for those who are just dipping their toes into the cryptosphere's strange oceans.
Couldn't agree more! I wonder if they had this vision when Steem-Engine was first released years back. Sandbox is the perfect word, imo.
No worries, this is definitely not competition for VYB...
Funnily enough, competition is exactly what is needed. This creates a healthy environment for innovation and evolution. I've personally been preaching the "anyone can create a token with the same model and set up as POB/VYB and take it to whatever heights they desire", mentality for a while now.
At the moment, I am constantly shifting between browsing on https://www.vybrainium.com/trending and https://www.proofofbrain.io/trending to see the similarities and differences between the two curation models (there are two definite models at work, it's very insightful!).
The VYB Curation Project backed with the vyb.pob upvote is giving a real breath of fresh air to the POB front-end. I can't wait to see how this changes on the 23rd when we switch to the next set of 4 curators.
