Self-defence should not justify violence.

I will not pretend to know what to do about the Israel-Palestine conflict. Foreign policy is not my strong suit, so I'm really not educated enough to say what solution is needed.

What I will say is people are walking a very dangerous line right now with the moral philosophy you employ when justifying violence for the side you prefer. I have seen justifications that because Palestinians are being oppressed and colonized by Israel, it's justifiable for a terrorist organization to kill innocent Israelis as a reaction.

This is very problematic because you end up being someone who would need to answer why you don't believe 9/11 was justified — since America was being imperialist and oppressive to the Middle East, how is it not justified for a terrorist organization from that region to react by killing 3,000 innocent Americans? What else were they supposed to do?

It's also kind of insane that after months of people talking about stopping prejudice, virtually all are turning a blind eye to the rise in violence targeting Jews in the U.S., and that no one has called for some executive order or bill to condemn Anti-Jewish hatred.

Think very carefully about and through the arguments you use to justify violence for self-defense to loosely defined and indirect violence.
