Big Flop by the Asian exchange Kucoin: "The people's exchange" that was proposed as open and decentralized without having to deposit your documents and give personal information for trading, came out, a few days ago, with the beautiful idea to make KYC (know your customer) mandatory for withdrawals, that is the verification of identity through photos and documents.
This fact, of course, had an impact on its token, the Kucoin Shares, which first was around the 50th place of the market cap, is now in 250th place.
Kucoin Shares, a bit like Binance Coin, are tokens that, for those who hold them on the relative exchange, give a small part of the platform's earnings, in proportion to the tokens held.
Obviously, after the KYC news, many thought of selling everything, withdraw from Kucoin and take off forever.
Well, I have to say that I'm thinking about it too, I'm a little disappointed with Kucoin, although I can understand that on a legislative level they are under pressure.
But it would be better not to promise things that can not be done ..... the market might just punish you really badly.

Grande Flop da parte dell'exchange asiatico Kucoin : "The people's exchange" che si proponeva come aperto e decentralizzato senza l'obbligo di depositare i propri documenti e dare informazioni personali per fare trading, ha avuto , pochi giorni fa, la bella idea di rendere obbligatorio per i prelievi il KYC (know your customer), ovvero la verifica dell'identità mediante foto e documenti.
Questo fatto, ovviamente, ha avuto un impatto sul proprio token, il Kucoin Shares, che prima girava intorno al 50° posto del market cap, ora si trova al 250° posto.
I Kucoin Shares, un po' come i Binance Coin, sono token che, per chi li detiene sul relativo exchange, danno una piccolisima parte dei guadagni della piattaforma, in proporzione ai token in possesso.
Ovviamente , dopo la notizia del KYC, molti hanno pensato di vendere tutto, prelevare da Kucoin e togliersi dalle scatole.
Beh, devo dire che ci sto pensando anch'io, sono un po' deluso da Kucoin, anche se posso capire che a livello legislativo sono sotto pressione.
Però sarebbe meglio non promettere cose che non si possono mantenere.....il mercato punisce severamente questi comportamenti.

Io ho dei dubbi pure sulla piattaforma medesima. Comunque grazie, non sapevo questa cosa del KYC.
Fondare la propria campagna sulla possibilità di concedere agli investitori la possibilità di rimanere anonimi e dopo rimangiarsi tutto non è stata una grande trovata.
Sarebbe sicuramente stato meglio mettere in chiaro fin da subito le cose.
E' anche vero che nel mercato cinese esistono poteri troppo forti.

wow if I was in your shoes, I would have sold everything and left that exchange but able and come out afloat with the new terms and conditions where they will not be as decentralized but one more of the lot.
It is bad news for what I see, I think in buying and selling criptocurrency that is a game of chance, do not know if the price up or down, it all depends on luck
Yes. I agree. The same thing happened with Bittrex and so many others. I didn't even get a chance to withdraw before getting this imposed on me. They should at least give a warning and opportunity to make a choice. I think KYC will be a big deal when it comes to crypto in the coming years. I already have a position with Civic and now I'm waiting for Peer Mountain to start its ICO.
