Hear me out. So there is a "new & improved" strain of COVID out. Not deadlier, but more infectious. Word has it that it's coming from the UK, probably spawned in Scottish Haggis or some other dreadful UK cuisine, but I digress.

This new strain landed in Japan yesterday, or a few days earlier, via someone from the UK. Combine that with Tokyo hitting 994 positive tests and Japanese politicians are shitting the bed. So, the only natural response is to close down inbound travel from abroad.
Why do I support this? Because despite the world going mad and destroying people's livelihoods, Japan is open for business. Pretty much everything is open. We go out to eat a few times a week with no problems. I don't want the politicians here to have a reason to change that by this new virus spreading. Personally, if you look through my posts, I don't even believe COVID is bad and can be stopped easily with the right diet, zinc, vit. D & ionophores mixed with lots of green tea(polyphenols) and exercise. So not giving politicians a reason to "reset" a society based on a virus that has killed very few people in Japan is a good thing. So are borders, but that's another topic.

Honestly enough it's very much a hoax and if we would have locked down and shut down air travel and destroyed the economies of the entire world how many people would starve and die from that...
There is lots of truth to that, but an old friend just called to let me know that a much younger woman from my hometown, that I remember from childhood, just died because of Covid. They attempted to medfight her to one of the best hospitals in the state, but she died there. I doubt if she would believe that it is a hoax.
I don't think there is any avoiding it. Like the Flu it will run it's course globally no matter what. The important thing is to know how our bodies' immune system works, how the virus infects and how to fight against it. Knowing those things helps you avoid other illnesses as well.

I do believe in vitamins and taking care of myself, but I was diagnosed with MS 20 years ago and my immune system is already compromised.
Yeah there is really no pandemic going around if it really was we would be having a much bigger argument over how to dispose of the massive amounts of bodies.

I think it's a slightly stronger flu, but only for the elderly and unhealthy, aka a gain of function strain from a lab. They showed their hand too quickly with this Global Reset BS.

Yup! They never talk about boosting the immune system and using local traditional herbal medicine. One cheap traditional and well known medicine here has been proven to kill this virus in laboratory. But the doctor/ researcher got silenced and had no way to experiment with new cases! The drug lobbyists are very powerful!
Kami, if you are interested there is a documentary, it's actually part 2, that goes into one of the reasons Western Medicine turned away from traditional herbs. Basically John Rockefeller saw the huge profit potential both in pharmaceuticals and making them out of hi s oil. There is so much we don't know, forgot about. If it is more transmissible then we are just going to have to power through it. There is no escaping it. I just don't want Japan shutting down because of it.
