This verse is one of truth and power. Our faith can give us joy, hope, and peace. Incredible and very logical.
Hope comes from our faith. We know that the Lord is with us and giving us what He knows that we need. WE are certain that He will always love us and care for us.
We have joy because we know this to be true. Joy is different from happiness because it is a state, not just an emotion depended on a happening.
We have peace. For if we have joy and hope, peace will follow. We don’t need to let every little nuisance bother us. We don’t need to let the judgments of others concern is. Only the Lord’s judgement matters. The Lord will take care of everything if we ask and receive. Give Him your burdens.
If that’s not a wonderful gift from the Lord, what else could we want?
