Thanks to all of you for helping us getting this new proposal funded!
As promised in our proposal, we will post weekly updates to let you know what's going on regarding Keychain development.
Mobile App
The development on the mobile App side remains the main focus and much has been done towards achieving the goal of the Alpha release:
- Implementation of the Wallet drawer menu
- Implementation of the user key management screen design
- Lots of testing that led to the discovery and fix of some bugs
- Creation of the Android Adaptive Icons, that allows automatic creation of icons (square, round, rounded, etc.) on different devices.
- Work on optimizing the App to reduce its size
- Preparation of the Google Play page
- Preparation of issues templates on Github for the testing phase

Regarding the Alpha, there are still a few issues that need fixing before releasing it, but it should be ready to be published next week on Android. According to the Play Store, the review process is longer than usual due to the pandemic, let's hope it won't take too long. For iOS, the tests will start in a few weeks.
Keychain extension
A few issues have been fixed after being reported via Github and other channels. The new version (1.10.5.4) has already been approved on Firefox and is pending review on the Chrome Store.
As discussed above, the mobile App is approaching the alpha release for Android, and is the main focus right now, hence no new feature is under development on the extension side for now.
