Yes, I did allow my kids to smoke things when they were very young. As long as they smoke outside using a magnifying glass. My kids have loved experiential physics as they grew up.
Some say that necessity is the father of invention, but I would argue that playing around with physical laws will result in ideas, and mistakes can turn into million dollar products.
