The New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) is a Catholic interpretation of the Bible distributed in 1985. The New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) has turned into the most broadly utilized Roman Catholic Bible outside of the United States. It has the imprimatur of Cardinal George Basil Hume.

Like its antecedent, the Jerusalem Bible, the New Jerusalem Bible (NJB) variant is deciphered "specifically from the Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic." The 1973 French interpretation, the Bible de Jerusalem, is taken after just "where the content admits to more than one elucidation." Introductions and notes, with a few alterations, are taken from the Bible de Jerusalem.
