Pablo Escobar Gaviria, who is not familiar with the world-class and also first-class narcotics king from Colombia, even the memory of Robin Hood from Medellin is still heard after decades of his death.

Escobar's career in the illicit trade and the distribution of cocaine is somewhat phenomenal, estimated at the time of his death on the roof of his home in Medellin, Colombia, and the king saved a fortune of US $ 30 billion.

The phenomenal figure of Escobar was responded in various ways in Colombia. In his hometown of Medellin, there is now a tour of Escobar's footsteps in various places. Even about himself has been filmed several times. But in the year 2O15, the Narcos series in my opinion which gave a satisfying spectacle about the twists and turns of the life of a drug king who had been on the list of the richest people according to Forbes magazine.

The series from Netflix, which premiered on August 28, 215, is the most recent narrative form of the story of the Colombian narcotics king, Pablo Escobar.

The scriptwriters also seemed to try their best to cultivate interesting characters and combine increasingly dark stories with a little humor and sentimentality. There are parts that are successful and fail, but overall, the first season of Narcos is quite interesting and worth watching.

Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) starred in the series as DEA Murphy's and Pena's agents. They were assigned as partners and given a mission to bring down Pablo Escobar (played by Wagner Moura), an increasingly influential trader after moving from electronic to cocaine business and ambitious to become a big man.

This is a very compelling story, and not just because it is inspired by a true story. Narcos uses this fact, which is the most interesting aspect as well as the biggest shortcoming of this series. On one hand, sometimes here is shown archival footage and photographs of Escobar's original cartel interspersed with actors who portray them.

It makes you shudder to remember that the horrible things you see on your screen "Terrorists blow up planes, innocent women, and children who are killed so cruelly" are inspired by things that might actually happen.

On the other hand, the fact that Escobar is one of the main characters here makes the surprise element in this series disappear, why? Because we all know the ending of this story.

The series was quite successful in leaving the audience hanged so they wanted to wait for the second season, but because it was lifted from a true story, the first season as a whole was incomplete. There is no significant payoff or a clear ending to the characters of Murphy and Pena because their journey is not finished.

I am not saying that the two agents did not develop as characters. However, even after nearly ten hours of airing, it felt like the audience was left waiting for them to show how the work of hunting down Escobar had made a change in their lives.

Escobar, the antagonist, is the most dynamic and interesting character, and also has the most full storyline. We also witness the rise and fall of someone who started from Robin-Hood in the eyes of the public ended up being the famous and isolated warlords we know from history; Someone who sacrificed hundreds of innocent Colombian people to save himself.

Even so, viewers continue to be presented with a commitment to look after his family and the people who work for him. Escobar has many scenes that will invite sympathy, although they are often portrayed as doing terrible things. This shows Moura's ability as an actor (and the ability of the scriptwriters) deserves a thumbs up.

The partner relationship between Murphy and Pena is the best thing in this series. Their relationship sometimes becomes a source of sadness, but also shows solidarity between the two while struggling with the murky federal government and dealing with local people.

Both of them made the wrong decision during the series, but watching them continue to overcome it and survive is heartwarming. Both Pascal and Holbrook gave a great performance.

Narcos does not lack tense scenes such as shocking death, shootout, intense stand-off, and chase-chasing scenes, but the most impressive aspect of this series is everything that is done to put the characters in impossible situations.

The series is also not afraid to give choices that are all bad and forces the audience to continue to follow each episode with a variety of different stories. You are curious about the series Narcos season 1?, here I provide the trailer below for you, Happy watching!

I calling to my friends @akukamaruzzaman and @hasyem to join this part

In your last entry, I considered your post out of date because you are a regular participant in the contest, @ericha (and also because I had not yet posted the poll)... But unfortunately, this time I will not be able to consider this entry for two reasons:

  • Reviews have to be exclusively about movies (the name of the contest is League of Movies) and you wrote a review on the TV series. I understood the concept and it is valid, but it does not fit the contest rules.

  • The first tag is not spelled correctly and since it was the first, it can no longer be modified. Next time, to avoid this error, choose it as a second or third option (because if you make a mistake, you will be able to edit it).

Well, that's it. Thanks again and I hope to see you in another rounds of the contest.

oh no...it so hard..,my mistake. It's ok sir
Never wrong, we do not know the true, ^_^
