Senator Cynthia Lummis disclosed that she made a $100k Bitcoin purchase in October. How significant is that? A senator in the US with over $100k in Bitcoin.
Surely she will be able to influence and educate some of her colleagues on the senate floor about the need for crypto and how not to strangle crypto innovation.
She was important in defeating that infrastructure bill that would require all crypto wallets to be declared and documented. I am not sure how they planned to work that out but I am glad it didn't pass.
While companies and billionaires have captured the attention of the public regarding Bitcoin, I think this is a very significant piece of news in the history of crypto. If anything, I am glad she bought the dip.
