Internet Service Again Thanks to Who?

Elon Musk's Starlink satellite internet network has helped connect hundreds of thousands in Ukraine this year and is now reportedly operational in Iran too amid ongoing protests in the region.

It is reported that SpaceX has been given that green light by the US for activating for people in Iran. The protesting sparked due to the death of a woman who had been in morality police custody and now many around the world have raised concern on the issue online and elsewhere.

US politicians seemed quick to take credit for "advancing freedom" in the region by enabling this service so the people could have online services in the face of a crackdown.

Elon Musk's company is the one to credit though for the solution that is now in the market that has been operational in multiple instances when people have lost access to communicate.

The issue now has the attention of millions around the world.

There have been protests at Iranian embassy locations internationally, in areas like Paris, and London.

There are also allegedly hundreds of arrests so far that have been made as the protests have been ongoing for several days in the region.

Dozens are said to have lost their lives in the conflict already as well, some human rights groups say the total could be between 41-75. Will there be more?
