These turkey vultures are different to other vultures. They are actually the only vulture that uses smell to identify food (normal vultures use their sight)
Despite vultures having a reputation for being scavengers they are crucial to the eco system. They are helpful for cleaning up rotting meat, and other dead animals and that helps stopping disease.
