Social Distancing to Prevent the Spread of Covid-19

Hello, friends!
I usually write about food but today i would like to share one of my life experience that happened in my surrounding recently. Maybe some of us in Jakarta had already worked from home due to the spread of Covid-19 here. For your information, until this morning the positive covid-19 here in Indonesia had already reached 369 cases in all over Indonesia, included 15 recovered and 31 died. Most of them are in Jakarta with 200+ cases.

And the newest rule due to covid-19, this morning our government started to restrict foreigners who enter Indonesia, the newcomers from several countries were disallowed to enter Indonesia starts from today.

This morning, like usually i used the public transportation, MRT to go to work. On the street i saw some co-workers were still going to work but mostly already wore masks.

In MRT station on entry gate there were 2 officers now, a security to check our bags and an officer with the thermal check. Mine was 36.2 celcius degrees, so they permitted me to go to the platform. MRT Jakarta also limited the passengers for a wagon, and this also happened for all public transportations here.

This also happened in the MRT station where i arrived (Blok M BCA)

Some newrules released about social distancing.

Inside the elevator, we must stand inside the line and also this rule put on the elevator's wall.

Not many persons in the platform today.

Inside the mrt started from yesterday's afternoon, they kept the social distance by skipping an empty chair between 2 persons, the x sign meant don't sit there.

Here the photo last afternoon

Today in the MRT

Like me, most were wearing masks.

Also the stations have hand sanitizer in their corners.

And just now the government made an announcement of working from home to prevent the spread of covid-19. Hopefully the pandemic would end soon. Stay healthy friends!
