I am back at my daughters and granddaughters for a week to help out. Loving my time with Evie but missing my pups so much. We think our youngest Pup has separation anxiety as she goes very quiet and sad when I go away, I think I will have to make my visits here shorter as don't want her stressing.
This is Luna today.
I arrived on Saturday, hubby drove me then Saturday coming my daughter and her partner are dropping me off as there are a few people who want to meet Evie. She's growing so quickly, now looks at you and smiles or babbles away to you. She amazes me all the time, I love being with her.
When I arrived on Saturday everything was fine until around 8 o'clock when my daughter Jessica started to feel unwell, her temperature dropped rapidly, her lips turned blue and her skin went grey, she had 4 layers of clothing on plus under a quilt with her partner cuddling her, I could still see her shivering and teeth chattering. Its happened before when I was here but not as bad, we should have phoned the ambulance then but within half an hour she was back as normal. This time we did phone for an ambulance. When they arrived they decided she needed to go into hospital for a few checks, she had to take Evie as she would miss her so her partner drove putting Evie in to her car seat and followed the ambulance. I stayed home and tidied the house. She didn't get home until the next day, they think she has an infection somewhere so gave her antibiotics. They did next time it happens bring her straight in It was very scary.
Thankfully Jess is back to her normal self. We have had a few good days with Evie, Jess will feed her then nana gets the burping and nappy changes, think I drew the short straw. I don't really mind as I'm grabbing every minute with her. Jess is breast feeding and just recently started giving her a formula bottle for bed time meaning Jess gets a break and her partner gets some bonding time.
I love being able to help them makes me feel useful again and gives me a reason to keep fighting my health problems. I have just recently had a few procedures done on the Endoscopy ward where they found I had a few more problems, Gastritis and Diverticulitis, just a few more added to my health problem list.
Whilst I have been at Jessica's me and Evie have been watching a few Disney films, your never too young or old for Disney. Evie loved the colours and the music. Jess is a big Disney fan, her house is filled with Disney ornaments and photos, and I have a few boxes come with Disney Christmas tree characters which will be going up this year for her.
Ooh and at last hubby has hung my angel pictures in my bedroom, I've been waiting ages.

I'm glad Jessica is OK now. Pregnancy and childbirth is a serious hormonal restructuring of a woman's body and there can be various problems. But she will definitely cope and everything will be fine!
