We did a little trip for ourselves and the kids.
It's one that suited their ages perfectly and we also have my brother in law and my first cousin very close to the theme park which suited us very well to fit it all into one trip.
Our kids are 4 and 6 which is just about the perfect ages for LEGOLAND and to be fair I love all of these places as well.
They are designed for kids but there is plenty there for the adults as well. We did a two day break and stayed in the lego castle for the craic of it. It was not too expensive for what we got and a lot better than i expected.
They had lego themed everything from the breakfast to the hotel lounge. No more than you would expect in a place like this but we had a ball of a time.
I even managed to win a giant, giant teddy for my daughter which we had to smuggle back through a ryanair flight but just about managed to squeeze him in to the suitcase.
All in all a successful few days and a great family trip.

I'd say this was a great trip and memories of a lifetime for the kids
I live not far from the the Legoland in Windsor and have lost count of the number of times we've taken the boys there over the year. Definitely perfect for that age range.
Last year we got a Merlin Pass which was great because alongside Legoland we're pretty close to Thorpe Park and Chessington plus all the attractions in central London too.
We absolutely rinsed the passes and to be honest if we don't go to an amusement park again for a couple of years then I think we'd be ok for that 😂
We loved it anyway.
I can totally see the appeal of a season pass if you lived in the area and especially if you get access to multiple attractions.
I would go back again next week if we could and once you get the layout and the timing right can get an even better experience from to place.
