Had to chuckle at the 'scorcher' reference... we got our first freeze warning for tonight in the Chicago area. The effect of the delay is actually kinda helpful in making me appreciate the cooler temps. I was griping about the heat, then, too. Lol! ;~P
That firepit looks like it was built for maximum heat retention and at the same time shielding the light from passersby. He knew what he was doing. I hope, too, he's found better circumstances.
Good tip on getting cleaner cuts on plywood! It works like a charm. Having a ceiling is going to make a massive difference compared to what you endured last winter. Great job!
It can take a little while to get comfortable doing the text. Once you get in the habit, it's not as much of a chore.
Oh, and I made you a 'Follow Me' button for the end of your posts. It's a link back to your home page.
Copy/paste this language at the end of your posts - removing the space after each '<' symbol. (There are nine.) Once the text is 'tightened up', it should work as a link.
Make sure to save the final working version so you can just copy/paste that cleaned up version easily for future posts.
